Pakistan Tour of Australia 2009/10

Is it just me or does Afridi sometimes look as if he has no idea what to do? He can hit it pretty well but when that isn't working, he just looks horrible.

EDIT - It's time for the Hauri-cane.. ;)

Ponting has a nice collection of classic catches now :laugh

Screw KFC, call it Ponting's Classic Catches :P

Back in 1998 he already had enough classics! A whole career of amazing catches and run outs. He has consistently hit the stumps every season for 15 years, incredible. His catching has always been really great, a few drops every now and then but thats expected, no-one is 100%. when he moved into the slips after Mark Waugh's retirement or when Warne wasnt playing he really made it his own. Before that he was amazing at point or mid wicket.

He's definitely the best current fieldsman in my opinion. Nobody else can do some of the stuff he does.

WTF is Afridi thinking? I know he's a big hitter, but come on. Your team is in trouble and he swings like that.
It wasn't his fault they were in a hole. From that position, the only way they could save face is if they started to find 6 an over and really that means someone riding their luck and going for broke. Of course, he doesn't seem to have a great range of games for different situations, but in this case, if they're not going to have a crack, then batting out the game is of no great interest.

Great performance, winning these two games when chasing and then defending totals is a fine effort. Our bowlers looked awesome. All of them. Watson is proving to be the most valuable player we have, without his batting and bowling we are in trouble. If he didnt bowl we would have 4 batsmen who dont bowl, plus Clarke who rarely bowls.

Watson's lbw problem has long past, can't remember a time he was trapped after the 1st WI Test. He is another Hayden in our batting line-up, great technique and an agressive mindset. Can't wait for the Ashes :D

Pakistan need to learn to handle pressure. They have so much skill, but their lack of temperament, results in these sort of matches. They fought back so well, after Watsons onslaught, and then their batsman let them down again.
