tbh, who cares if they bowl trash now? I know that sounds like the wrong attitude but they're not going to get Clarke, North, haddin and Johnson out for 50 runs, australia will probably declare at 500 anyway.

as well just giving them the runs, instead of tiring themselves out bowling themselves into the ground.

if pakistan are to have a half chance they're as well batting as soon as possible to give themselves any hope of putting on the 700-800 needed to setup a good final day. Which they won't do anyway.

Ponting must think this pitch will be difficult to take 20 wickets on, tbh I can see Pakistan being 50-3 quite easily here, I'd love to be proven wrong but their top three is horrible.

Would like to see Umar Akmal do some damage though, it might be good viewing when it isn't happeing to your team.

Well, you'd hope he does some damage. It'd be worse if they find some obvious flaw and for example, get him out for cheap in the gully every innings in the series.
