There was 2 noises, but you just have to look to see that the ball hit the inside of the pad so it was most likely the back pad also. Also quite a lot of daylight between bat and ball. Benefit to the batter, fair enough I guess but lucky for the review system.

If Pakistan only get a 200 lead Australia still in the game. Should be the best time to bat tomorrow (and probably today also). Second innings for Australis though Asif will stay a danger but Kaneria will probably be the main man.

Aussies will need probably mid high 400's to set enough runs to stand a chance. Chasing 250 might be hard on the 4th and 5th days.

What they have now is plenty, this doesn't look like the normal Sydney pitch that breaks up. We need to score about 600 to be on top, 500 puts us about par as chasing 300 looks possible.

Silly cricket really. Pakistan are batting as if they have a plane to catch . Our batsmen should have looked to bat out till lunch tomorrow and seal the deal. Its one thing being aggressive but this is total madness.

Yep, they should be able to get another 20 runs to stretch the lead to 200 which they can't really be disappointed with on this pitch.
