Pakistan Tour Of Ireland, England and Scotland 2018

One change that I believe should happen for England Tests' is bringing in Hasan Ali for Rahat Ali. Firstly, he is a lot quicker than the rest plus can produce a 30-ish with the bat at the bottom of the innings. Rahat hasn't been bad but he is just too one dimensional.

One more change I believe, Give chance to Fakhar Zaman in place of either Imam or Babar Azam, In case Zaman comes in for Babar Azam. Azhar Ali can play down the order. This Azhar, Imam sluggish combo won't work for longer.

I`m surprised not many people have shown interest in this test. This has been one of the finest comebacks in recent times. No matter what happens tomorrow, Ireland have turned up and showed the strength of the associate cricket system. A real egg on the ICC's face for reducing the number of teams in the 2019 WC. Ireland looked overawed in the first innings, especially with the bat. They were really good with the ball for most part of Pakistan's first innings despite the limited resources and now, to keep Pakistan on the field for more than 120 overs in the second innings is a phenomenal effort. Three cheers to the Irish side.

The big question now is can they dream for bigger things in the second innings? Regardless, they have shown that they belong. Also waiting for a competitive test match between Afghanistan and India next month. Test cricket needs these two nations to do well.

Amazing determination shown by Ireland. The way they batted in 1st innings, I didn't think they would strike back like this. Even if they lose, they should be proud with this performance and this comeback. And how happy and proud K O'Brien must be feeling. Brilliant knock from him.

True, brilliant knock by Kevin O Brien, well done and he himself knew how important his knock was. Getting a 100 after 7 freaking years is also a big thing. Whatever the result will be Ireland have played well and its only fitting that the team that removed Pakistan from WC in 2007 is playing their first test against them. Also the sportsman spirit Pakistani cricketers showed post his 100 was remarkable as well. Good all-round cricket.

Really hoped India would have played a test against Ireland instead of those t20I's. I think every country that tours England should now tour Ireland for at least a Test and a few t20s. These guys are missing out big time of playing other big teams regularly.

But still great fight by the Irish. It's amazing to see them look like fighters instead of folding up and looking tame just like in the first innings. Kevin OBrien thoroughly deserved this knock, he's been a major asset to Irish cricket and he turns up and scores on Ireland's debut match. He's was out of form mostly in the months following up to this, good comeback by him.

First hour will be crucial for Ireland in order to sustain this momentum. Amir and Co did damage in the morning did quite a bit of damage. If the other batsmen support O'Brien, Ireland can hope to set at least an imposing target and give Pak a fright.

As always, our bowlers are brainless when it comes to removing tailenders. Not one bouncer or yorker bowled to Kane.

Ireland clearly have an edge here. Its either a draw or Ireland win. Anything over 100 in fourth innings is indeed frightening.[DOUBLEPOST=1526366658][/DOUBLEPOST]Sarfraz and Co. are responsible themselves for having poor selection by picking players like Rahat Ali, given him preference over other good talent just because of his own friendship. I back Junaid here in test matches but Sarfraz and Inzy company will only pick their own favorites.

Rahat is an opening bowler..But for Abbas he is now 3rd choice. This Pakistan bowling unit is looking average with out Wahab Riaz.

Ireland need to sustain pressure on Pakistan. They're always capable of chipping away at any batting order but lack continuing to put pressure and they usually give the game back to the opposition. If they don't do what they did in the first innings, and give the game back to Pakistan, expect some real damn close game here.

Babar and Imam already putting pressure on the Irish, they need two more quick wickets.

All those new posters must congratulate Pakistan if Ireland loses this and won't run away from here. Rule #1 lolzzz... Seriously... How desperate people are to see Ireland win from here

Anyway, Babar seems not a test material at all.

Everyone (except Pakistan fans) wants to see Ireland win because they are new nation and a lower ranked team. It will be the same for Afghans when they play against India as everyone (except Indian fans) will be hoping for Afghan win.

Hmm I'd say the better team on this day should win.

What a great game of test cricket!

Although from a Pakistani point of view, our batting has been poor. This innings will probably mean Babar will continue in England even though he clearly isn't a test batsman. Impressed with the way Imam has started his test career - seems more proficient than Sami Aslam.

In the end, Pakistan won comfortably. Shadab Khan was amazing. Faheem and Shadab's partnership in 1st innings was the game changer. If they had collapsed too, then the match would have been much more close. And Shadab also picked up the crucial wicket of Thompson in 2nd innings.

Ireland shouldn't be too disappointed with the result. They fought well and they should be proud of their efforts.
