Pakistan vs England Jul-Aug-Sep 2010

An international standard team can't be 36-6 even in conditions they're not used to.
Do you mean an international team can't just blame 6/36 on conditions?

Otherwise, yes even the best batting lineups damn well can be that bad. Even in the last decade, a period of overall great batting conditions, pretty much every Test team has been in something like that position at some point. Nobody rates a team on their worst and if they don't make a habit of it, it's quickly forgotten. Pakistan however, are starting down that path.

Damnit, bat out of your crease! It's not rocket science!

Yes that's what I meant. But this isn't a one off innings though. This is third time in a row they've been 6 wickets down for under 50 runs.

Anyone know the record for the most consecutive team innings under 100? Because Pakistan have good chances of breaking it.

We shouldn't be complacent, this is Pakistan's strength, the bowling. Even so, it's hard to defend 75, even if they get 300 in the 2nd innings. You wouldn't expect England to be chasing more than 200, would you?

If we get 250, I'll be happy, given the context. Anything above that is a bonus.

When Cook defends, why does he move his bat across? Shouldn't he be hitting it with a straight bat?

I told ye all that Pakistan is always eager to make (world) records.:D

Prediction: Pakistan to lose it big by an innings and some 150 runs.:D
