Indeed, take nothing away from the bowling. Anderson, Broad and Finn have been excellent. Should obviously have gone for more than 19 runs from 15 overs, but they've still bowled fantastically.

Agree on the Bangladesh front too. Tamim, Siddique, Shakib, Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah are all better players than Farhat, Amin, Ali, Akmal, Malik and Akmal Snr.

Thats what I was thinking, Bangladesh's batting line up is probably better than pakistan's.

Akmal's made more runs in 10 balls than the openers did in 64.

The trouble is that they can only play two kinds of cricket, positive or negative. If they're trying to hang in there, they just shelve their shots and if that doesn't work, they turn kamikaze. The ability to work the field around, steal singles and take calculated risks just isn't there. It's why they were able to give Marcus North six wickets. They want runs off the part-time spinner, but he didn't bowl badly enough for them to just smack boundaries at will. They had to milk him; and they wanted to; but they just couldn't resist teeing off.

Azhar Ali gone for 0. Was going to happen eventually, he got himself into a hole and couldn't clamber out. Might have been just outside the line, but looked very close. 29/4. Umar Akmal the only hope.

Pakistan 29/3 off 18 and a half overs, Umar Akmal has 16 off 14; rest of them have 10 off 99 balls. Quality batting that.
