3x hundreds in 70x 1st class matches isn't too bad batting wise, with a relatively fragile looking batting line-up he will probably need to make some runs.
What is the run of Pakistani wicket-keepers?
1982-1990 : Salim Yousuf (32 Tests) 1055 runs @ 27.05
1990-2004 : Moin Khan (69 Tests) 2741 runs @ 28.55
1992-2003 : Rashid Latif (37 Tests) 1381 runs @ 28.77
2002-2010 : Kamran Akmal (51 Tests) 2624 runs @ 32.00
Off the top of my head, names that is not stats. Must cover most of Pakistan's Tests over that period. 232 played by Pakistan between 1982 and 2010, 189 Tests between those four keepers = 81.47% Only wish England were more consistent, we've had at least four Test keepers since Ashes 2005! (Ambrose, Read, Jones, Prior off the top of my head) Wasn't much more consistent before that, it is sad when fans spend 97% of their time debating who should be keeper because of runs vs catches when it is ONE place in the side, and more often than not it is the bowling or batting that wins or loses a match, not 2-3 dropped catches. Would Pakistan have won if Akmal had caught everything? Maybe, but not likely given their batting displays
