If only Jadeja could have shown some sensibility in taking a single after that boundary off the first ball of the over... If only Ashwin can start not acting like a old man whenever he runs between wickets (he slipped thereby costing an additional run and more importantly with Dhoni losing strike).

Giving Munaf that many wickets is criminal. We didn't miss anyone today, we just played up to expectations (of our tradition of being 'slow starters'). Let us CSK fans hope that this is another well calculated press of the accelerator.

One good thing I liked is, she knew the value of Dhoni's presence in the middle and was not reacting at all until Dhoni was in the middle. She started her antics only after Dhoni was gone.

Dhoni was amazing!!! He brought us so close from a treacherous position. Gun of a player!

Malinga's absence was more than offset by the absence of Faf and Albie. Who knows we might have won had atleast Faf been there.

I think Dhoni should persist with Rajpoot and also try out the other Indian pacers that CSK has roped in. Rajpoot was a little nervous today, but still did well to prise out Ricky Ponting for a memorable debut in the IPL, and that too with a short ball. Being with CSK will help pacers like him because they are under the backing of India's captain and the BCCI president and I won't deny that it can get him under good books if they do well (though I am not a major believer that CSK favoritism happens in the national team selection).

I like the way Dhoni has started to display a little more emotions on the field (his reaction when Ashwin slipped thereby denying him the second run and the strike was a classic example). I mean he is not going around shouting and fist pumping like the Ganguly's and the Kohli's, but a tiny bit increase in the display of emotions can help his side know how their captain feels.

Yes there will be a nice partner for Dhoni also.I also thought that Dhoni should come still earlier for batting.

Good win for KXI. First time they opened their account with win. How many times do we see a team winning their match by losing their wicket instead of scoring last run on final ball?

I must say even though I hate KXI owners but they do select some talented local players. We have produced a talented local player almost every season who comes out of no where. First Valthathy, then Mandeep and now Vohra. Hats off to this team with young blood. They showed once again talent is more important than names in these type of leagues.

How did you feel when Delhi lost those first two games without Sehwag? If you don't think Faf and/or Albie are impact players, then you have not been following the right IPL.
