Looks like the change of fortunes has come about for Hyderabad with the change in team owners. They look a far better team now, and are in serious contention for a playoff spot. They are table toppers right now, would anyone have expected that at the beginning of this tournament?:D

I am waiting for CSK vs Hyderabad now. The Tamil vs Telugu rivalry was non-existent before with Hyderabad playing like a dead snake. But now with them rising up, it will be exciting.

This hyderabad sunriser is unstoppable this season I guess former owners of the team kicking themselves after this stunning performance from the team they just needed to change coaching stuff not the quitting the team :lol

Though they are top on the points table now, I am still doubtful about SRH being in play offs, because their batting is very weak with little exception of white-vihari and perera; and with only exception of that super-over game with RCB; their strong bowling performances have occurred only against the teams with weak batting lineup of this season- DD, KXIP and PWI.

While mishra -Ishant and even steyn looked clueless against stronger teams like RCB in repeat game and against KKR. It would be interesting to see how they bowl against MI and CSK. :thumbs

I don't know how much of a rivalry it will be with us basically owning their team, if you know what I mean.
Yes, I very well know what you mean and this is one of the main reasons why SRH is doing well this season! ;)

Where is this guy Srinath Arvind? He looked a decent find last time around for the Challengers!

He is injured mate, and some one laughing at should understand even csk has not provided an opportunity for a home town bowler apart from ashwin they always depend on either their over sea allround recruit or domestic recruit from other states. At least understand and abide that its IPL and supporting your local lad is the 1st option and frankly speaking he was one of the succuss for RCB in the 4th season came in the mid way and bagged around 14 or 16 wickets.

Came back well(very well actually) after what was some pretty average bowling in the powerplay overs(mostly just Albie Morkel), take this score at the start of things, but we can't be complacent here I feel, if anyone can defend this sort of total on this sort of pitch, it's KKR.

Yeah, conceding 8 runs to the over is quite a success, and as far as your limp of an attack on us not producing local bowlers goes, I'm sorry, but we only like to give out chances to top talent who will also help us win trophies.

And guess who's out there joining Mike, yep, Ashwin!

----------

Surprise surprise, and already a run out chance for KKR!

Numbers Game: Home advantage in the IPL | Cricinfo Magazine | ESPN Cricinfo

Good read(or look I suppose).

Dude, you already put words in Yudi's mouth. Why? The Marans are not in best of terms with Karunanidhi family (Sun and Kalaignar channels have seen bitter battles in recent times) and Srinivasan is rumored to be a pro-Karunanidhi guy.

These guys just make us feel som flatteringly powerful. Should not fall for it.

I like this decision! Ashwin has opened for Tamil Nadu at the start of his career. So this was a sensible gamble.

He's gone, but he's done the job if you ask me, 2 overs of Senanayake that they'll never get back! :p

The architects of the last game pummeling are out together now. Hope Dhoni makes it count again today.

The decision to send Ashwin was probably to keep the better batters for the back end of the innings since it becomes harder to bat as the innings progresses. I think it was a good decision.

I would've sent Badrinath ahead(@ 4 even) tbh, this is the kind of situation Badrinath excels at, slow-turning wicket with a low scoring chase on our hands.

And Dhoni's gone! Oh boy...

Missed this post.

Tbh dude, I couldn't give a toss as to who likes who(the fans shouldn't either), just went by what I see and what I see is a Tamilan owning the Hyderabad team.

Req. RR up to 10 now... should I be worried?

Typical CSK! Wonder when they will stop adopting this tactic of leaving it till the last minute. The Dhoni influence clearly shows. They dont panic and all is OK, but on this pitch, 10 an over is mighty mighty hard, dare I say even IMPOSSIBLE!

KKR favorites from here! I would say Chennai need a small miracle here....

7 minutes later and that post makes you look like a fool, that's T20 for ya right there! :p

----------

Hussey gone too now, damn! :noway

----------

Tough wicket? Not for Sir it ain't!

----------

Did I just see Sir use his powers to make Yusuf drop teh catch? :p

All eyes on Dhoni's twitter page today... The Sir has struck once again. Esp. his six off Narine was master class.

CSK have peculiarly dominated all away games this season, and have strangely looked ordinary at home. Hope they correct their home record this season quickly. We again look title contenders. This time, with better work (till now) in the league phases.
