Wasim Jaffer must be considered for the SA Tour.He is a pure test cricketer.I am very unhappy that he is being neglected in IPL.

More importantly, he should have been in the CT squad. Nevertheless, he'd be in the amteur 'A' side for the tour to SAF, as you have mentioned before!!
Really want to watch out for his technique in 'foreign' conditions!!
And boy, if he fails, it'll not be very good for India in tests!!

I am confident Pujara will do well. That's why him going to SA for the 'A' tour is very important. I would want Kohli, Vijay and Dhawan also to go but these guys are selected for the Champions trophy and not having Kohli will weaken India considerably. But if the 'A' tour doesn't clash with the Champions trophy (I think BCCI is still working on it), then these guys SHOULD go on the 'A' tour.

Just being pure test cricketer is not important. He was given too many chances, and he failed big time. His and Ajit Agarkar's cases are very similar. They do well in domestic cricket, but they are found wanting in international cricket. Badrinath seems to be a similar case.

Turned on TV when KXI were 68/4 needing 123 runs from 60 balls at 13 r.p.o. Thought I should wait to see by how much runs we lose.

Switched off the TV after seeing the spectacular and astonishing run chase I have ever seen in IPL. What a gem of an innings by Miller!

What an absolute gem of an inning that was from Miller. I watched the whole inning of KXIP and never expected them to chase this down. I knew that Miller is in good form so I expected them to fight and than feel short of the target again by about 20 runs but this guy just killed it.

Haven't watched a lot of games this season, but really wish I had watched all the game. Turned it off, when Hussey was out. But wow, well played Miller. Knew he was in good form, but he played beautifully. I bet Preitty Zinta is very happy with that

Just making a brief comment on this thread simply because of David Miller's recent performances.

His hitting ability has been know for a good few years now on the domestic circuit in England & S Africa. He shown similar destructive batsman for Yorkshire in finals of the England T20 last year and when he gets going in T20 leagues world wide he is on the Gayle, Pollard, Watson, Warner hitting level.

How S Africa didn't pick him in their T20 world cup squad last year is still mind-boggling - although it probably has something to do with quotas.

I won't call this bad bowling performance when your bowlers had KXI for 64/4 at just 11 overs with Req rate touching 14 most of the times. Just agree that Miller was amazing yesterday helped with some bad fielding. Gayle was just a spectator in front of him. Irony is that Kohli was swearing Vinay Kumar just the previous ball for conceding boundary before he himself dropped catch.
