MI will be all pumped up for tomorrow's home fixture against RR, I reckon. As improbable as it may sound, KKR & KXIP are still in the hunt. In a hypothetical scenario (which may not be so hypothetical in this format given how DC knocked off RCB last year in spite of them performing well all through the season) SRH & RCB losing the next 2 and KKR or KXIP winning all their remaining matches with a healthy runrate, it puts 4 teams in contention for the 4th spot at 16pts each.
It's a contest within a contest. MI, CSK, RR fighting for the top 2 slots and RCB, SRH, KKR, KXIP fighting for the 4th slot. So, it promises to be an entertainer, high with emotions, in this business end of the tournament.
Backing KXIP (for I don't want KXIP & KKR to get outta the tournament so early) & DD (for I want MI to retain the top spot) today. Having said that, may the best team win!

To put a few things right, the MI game against KXIP, those were 4 full tosses with just 1 exceeding the waist high limit, which unfortunately the umpire failed to understand. It happens to everybody, just as Sachin was ruled LBW against CSK at Chepauk, when he had actually got an inside edge to it. Moreover, KXIP would love to upset others, but they haven't got a particularly impressive record at Dharamshala. RR would like to set their away record right, but MI winning 7/7 home fixtures & RR winning 2/6 away fixtures settles the argument on paper pretty well. And, I don't think RR has got the firepower to breach the MI fortress that withstood the assaults of RCB, CSK and many others.
All I mean to say is that there's no bias towards MI, but on paper, it wins against both RR & KXIP, hands down.
