Very much agreed Lee. The menu's look dated, the commentary is absolute rubbish - Peter Brackely? Trevor Brooking? LOL!

Theres somthing about it which makes it feel foreign, maybe it's soccer, I don't know. After hearing my mates rave about the graphics of PES 5 I thought they would be somthing special, but, there not. In terms of smoothness I think Fifa's are far better.

Honestly, I don't care about how the menus look, or how the commentary is. The core of the game is in its gameplay. Now, its graphics may not be up to par compared to Fifa, but they are very good nonetheless. Get the pc version and put everything on high detail, and the graphics are great.

No, the animation is not. Watch replays, the kick the ball when its 2 metres away from them!

And, this is not a "love PES" thread very much like the Fifa one is not a love "FIFA" one. It's debating. Surely the judgements should be made over the whole game, including its sounds and displays?

In regards to patches, having not played in a while I am still using the PES Fan option file, which does not alter any of the online kits, but does affect all the single player kits, names and everything else. With it not being available anymore, if you weren't able to get it, if you Pm me an email address, or msn addy, I should be able to send it to you

In PES5 does anyone know how to move leagues in the Master League. After getting promoted to the Master League with my Liverpool team I always am stuck in a league of Dutch teams. Is there any way to get into the English league?

If I recall correctly, you can buy a tool at the PES shop that allows you to edit the starting leagues. So at the beginning of each Master league you edit the league you want.
