South Africa in Australia Dec 2008-Jan 2009

Well Warner's certainly a hope for the future. Clearly a one day specialist. Hasn't had much domestic experience but already has shown he's capable of being the next hayden/gilchrist. Also see that Luke Ronchi's playing, I remember seeing him tear up the windies with that amazing 64 off just 28 balls.

Warner is Twenty20 specialist, he's a very good player but I hope we don't see him anywhere near Test Cricket. Lol.

Can't even see why Michael Hussey is in the team. He's not a big hitter and just tries to work it around.

two quick wickets you don't want to lose. Lets hope Ronchi and Hopes can finish it off with a decent score

Top overs Morkel and Ntini. SA could end ion a real high here if they restrict Australia to 180 odd.

Nice edge followed by a nice late cut followed by a dismissal all from Ronchi!! :o

Warner backed up 165 not out off 112 balls faced with 97 off 54 in the space of a couple days just a few weeks ago.

He has a future in ODI's.

Yeah. Said he was a Twenty20 specialist but doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be in the ODIs. I'd be more than happy if he would replace Hayden.

But like people have said in the past, there will be players developed just for Twenty20 Cricket, Warner might be the start of it. He's a big hitter which is very entertaining.

You're twisting his words. The argument was that hitting a six in a T20 doesn't make him a great ODI batsman, an argument which is still justified.

He averages 52 at List A level with an average of 52 and a highest score of 165.

Averaging 52 with an average of 52? :p

Haha but seriously his one day record is great. He isn't a limited over specialist, not a twenty20 one.

We've had a bit of a collapse but it hasn't hurt us too much, 180 is a good score.

That score should be defended. If SA get anywhere near it we're in for a hell of a game.
