South Africa in England

Exactly what I was starting to think. Harris is probably making this very dull, Although he is probably being told to do this my Graeme Smith.

Broad goes. Very good innings just to regain the momentum for England. Maybe Bell will up his game now and Sidebum will have a slog.

Top batting from Stuey there. I think the message may have been them to push it on a bit? As it was a random one and there was some talk going on.

Nothing special from Harris though.

Harris is a dull bowler by nature who's been lucky to get his two wickets today, sadly it means he'll stay in the side. I'd much rather see Nel in his place and Smith putting in a few overs.

Unlucky Broad, but what a find this guy is! He's almost another genuine all-rounder.

Yes, why isn't Andre Nel playing? He's surely the best SA bowler.

Here we go with the damn light again...

If they do play Ambrose from now, they should send him at number 8 and send Broad at 7,, because from what I've seen Broad is a much better batsman. That said, I would bring Matt Prior back anyway - unless I'm mistaken he's done exceedingly well in Domestic cricket.

His batting form has been very good, but that is irrelevant, he wasn't dropped for a lack of runs.

Don't think we'll be playing past 5:30 today.

It's usually a toss up between Nel or a spinner, I reckon Nel would be more effective due to his attitude, agression and knowledge of the conditions. I wouldn't call him the best, but on his day he can be quite destructive. I'd be happy to see Ntini, Steyn, Morkel, Nel and Kallis bowling in the next test with Smith putting in a few overs.

That's what I meant, he's a really intimidating bowler, which is more than you can say about anyone in the current attack.

An electric Steyn has a similar effect, but there just isn't something right he isn't what he should be at the moment. I really hope that after this match the bowling side of things will be sorted out, maybe even the captaining side of things, Smith has been dire during this match.

South Africa out a bit quicker this time :p

oh dear Ian Bell.

I blame that all on Bumble!!

'No english batsmen ever out for 199' - *******

That was a very good classy knock from Bell!

Anyway, If the time it took us from the last time we got 400+ was twelve tests(i think) then the next time we pass 400 should be the third test of the ashes next summer!

i think lords is going to produce another high scoring draw unless the pitch changes drastically.

it will now be ..like if South Africa scores well then pitch was good for batting and if they crash. .they are bad at batting as well.. .rather overrated like bowling.

Well, you never know about England. They could be all out for 100 in the second innings so I'm not putting my money on anybody.
