South Africa in England

Woop Freddie = god.

Can't wait to see him bowl now. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP.

Oh and I can't see how Monty actually believes he can bat. There's a reason you are batting below Jimmy Anderson.

Come on Pattinson :D

Wow, this is a major embarrasment.

The only positves was Petersens 45 and Freddie back in an England shirt.

The game matches the weather here. Dull and Gloomy. :(

Fine leg glance by Pattinson through the second gully region:p.

Pattinson and Anderson are desperate to make 200 for England.Healthy run rate of 4 is courtesy of KP.He should have batted one more session and England would have passed 250 at least.
But I think Conditions allow England to attack when they will bowl.
One Good Partnership for South Africa and they will be in Driving seat.

200!!! Get in there, this Pattinson boy looks like the new Botham. I like our plan to beat the Aussies though, send over a load of our kids, get the Aussies to train them into great cricketers and bring them back over here to play for England :D I want to see us bowl now. Is Pattinson a swing bowler? If not it's about time Broad got his chance with the new ball.

England reach 200 runs and they should be happy. I expect some South African wickets to be fallen today also.

I'm not too disheartened, I am confident we can get three, four or maybe even five wickets before the end of play tonight. Pattinson will bowl a consistent, nagging, off-stump line. Though, I have to say, if we continue to play Fred as part of a 5 man attack, we have to replace Ambrose. Davies, Prior or Batty (has come close to selection over the winter). We need a keeper who can bat, and who is in form. I was impressed by Davies.

I didn't think the Saffers bowled all that amazingly. They were good, but we were playing out in front of the body so much. KP looked excellent after lunch.

We have an opening attack of Saxons!

Now, I am keen to see how Pattison handles the pressure.

Of course, most of it will be on the Magic Andrew Flintoff, and with conditions like they are, he WILL be a handfull, but for Pattison, he has to prove that he can keep that spot over Sidebottom (Which is a big ask)

I can't see Pattison holding onto the spot when Sidebottom is fit, but eh, WICKETS are what we need, and if he gets them, I won't be moaning at all!

Come on England.

Wow somebody has finally recognized John Batty, I've been talking about him in keeping debates for ages! He's probably a tad to old now though

Foster or Davies for me. Foster's been class everytime he's been on the telly for Essex this season.

Anyway come on England! I can't believe we've just been skittled and i'm still insanely happy.

Not watching the game but considering the mood of the English supporters in here - Are the conditions over there highly favorable for the bowlers?

They were when the saffas were bowling but as things usually do its sunny now and now its hard for bowler.s

Yeah.

Pitch was doing something for the SA Quickies, its overcast, however, the Sun is starting to come out now, Pattinson has had one do something huge of the surface, so We are positive yes.

BARMY ARMY!

Too many balls without a wicket. Time for Fred. Come on. I am excited. Come on. Come on. Come on. :D This Pattinson looks rubbish. :p
