South Africa in England

let me guess we still dont want referalls?

I hope the ECB are happy!! Cos I can tell you I'm fuming at this whole test and the other tesT!
Yeah, Kallis' 10 runs beyond the lbw shout are really all that is needed to negate England's batting lineup.

great bouncer and horrible shot selection from AB. at this stage of the game he should know better.

wtf is this crap. I remember a few of you ripping on WI cricket because they had DIGICEL written on the sight screen in the Aussie series but in this test there is all kinds of crap written on it and in red too.

Damn You Flintoff, a real Hero.Awesome from big man.He is hitting the deck hard consistently with 85+ miles per hour.
Same old Flintoff,I guess.
How amazingly only one Bowler could raise up your Bowling standards?
16 overs to go,I bet If Flintoff will bowl more 4 overs then He will wind up the African tail Enders.

There is nothing written on the batsman's sightscreen. He is just complaining that the ball is coming from over the top of the sightscreen.

All of the Fred doubters amongst you can shut up now. That was one of the best spells of bowling i've seen from an Englishman in a long time.

Fantastic final session. Brilliant bowling, great batting again from Prince, a great bowler vs batsman duel between Fred and Kallis and lots of aggro and a fair bit of banter. That's what makes Test cricket better than anything else. Boucher had no grounds to moan about that sightscreen though. Everyone else has batted with the same sightscreen.

And how on earth Aleem Dar didn't give out that lbw boggles the mind completely. I fancy Fred to lose at least half of his match fee for having a go at him though.

I am just watching the highlights on Channel 5 now, so I can't comment fully on all of the bowling from England, but from what I have seen so far, Sidebottom looked pretty decent, he was hitting the lines well, forcing the batsmen to play, he just didn't have that luck.

Freddie on the other hand was superb! He really is making the batsman play shots they don't usually play, and them other 3 wickets will have done nothing but help his confidence!

What a catch from Jimmy!

I can't wait till Morkel bowls from Flintoff's end.

England 100 all out :p

Vaughan was out. But I don't know how the umpire gave it. There was no sound and there was no visible edge.
Sureshot, I really don't know why you make so many of these posts where you just post the first thing that comes to your mind diminishing the credibility you have.

If you took the time to watch the replay, snicko shows a CLEAR outside edge.

The edge is very small, and AMAZINGLY picked up by Aleem Dar.

Possibly the GREATEST ever umpiring decision of the century.

On hotspot, I believe Michael Atherton said that the white spot where the ball passed the bat was the sticker.

He was completely silent, when snicko showed that when the ball went past the edge of the bat, there was a big wave.

And the bat was NOWHERE near the pad. The bat did not hit the pitch.

Conclusion? The bat was right by the ball, and at the frame, snicko showed that Michael Vaughan indeed edged the ball.

Quite unsportsmanlike to act like he never edged it, and shake his head the entire time back to the pavillion.

Aleem Dar was and is an extraordinary umpire to pick that up.

Regarding the match situation, if South Africa can crawl to a 100 run lead, this match is as good as theirs for the taking.

The batsmen has every right to asking for the sightscreen to be adjusted...

Oh the irony. You go and accuse Sureshot of making rash posts that damage his 'credibility' and then you go and post that.

He asked for the sightscreen to be raised upwards which it can't be. And yeah, Aleem Dar is an amazing umpire. I mean apart from the fact that he doesn't give obvious lbw decision that even the batsmen admitted was stone dead then yeah, he's superb.

Well fought by Englishmen, but they'll lose lose lose :D they can show few itsy-bitsy performances in the match to entertain their fans but they'll lose, what i really care for :D :laugh

What a legend.

And zMario, over the top there with Dar a bit I think.
