South Africa tour of New Zealand, Feb-March 2011/12

That was some pretty poor captaincy from McCullum. Our two best bowlers didn't bowl a single over in the de Villiers - du Plessis partnership (from the 30th over), and they both ended they game with three overs up their sleeve each. Also I've got no idea why McCullum didn't take the batting powerplay when he started to up the scoring rate, especially considering it worked so well taking it early just a few games ago against Zimbabwe (when Oram went crazy).

great innings by devilliers!! he seems to be in supreme form for the last few years.

Not too sure about his captaincy yet. he seems to be a chilled out guy and doesnt seem to get that serious about anything. i remember ontong missing an easy catch in the last t20 and he just came up to ontong with a huge asS smile and laughed it off...i dont think i have ever seen anyone doing that

so many iron hands in the nz cricket team tonight that they're going to have to change the ball.

Well that was easy...

now saffars need to just go for the kill and win the last one day too, followed by the test series. They often slack off after winning a series and let the opponent win a couple of matches.

I posted in the Zimbabwe thread about a month ago that I'd be surprised if Ryder played for NZ again from the things I was hearing and I guess that could be the last we see of him.

He obviously values alcohol more than international cricket, same as Andrew Symonds did...:(

Ryder is Andrew Symonds of New Zeland which is sad because I liked Ryder as player.
