Who will win the La Liga this season?

I find it hilarious, given the obscene amount of money they've thrown everywhere, they still lag behind Pep's juggernaut. And long may the Francos suffer!

Real have no comeback here it seems. They need a good left-back, and a back-up right back as well. Also they'll require a striker permanently. Good to see Adebayor come to Santiago Bernabeu.

ya real madrid have no chance of winning the title in this season they have gone down in this season without gonzalo higuain other hand barcelona are performing well so surely barca will win the title once again

Looks like Mourinho's only hope of winning a trophy is the Copa Del Rey and Champions League. It's pretty hard to see Barcelona losing 3 games for Real Madrid to claw their way back into the title race.

We've overturned a 15 point deficit in the past, so nothing is impossible. However it is difficult, and I think for us the immediate thing is to get some rhythm back in our game because in the last few games it seems very disorganised and un-Mourinho like.

We have had a rough year with injuries as well and are presently without Pepe and Higuain, two key players.

Hopefully last night was the end of our blip. Got a big game coming up against Sevilla on Wednesday.

I think they've been very poor tbh. Other than Ronaldo, Alonso and di Maria (to an extent) nobody has performed this season. The majority of time they've been seriously lacklustre and not looked like doing anything, and still been defensively shaky at the same time.

We were playing well in the first third of the season, basically till the first Clasico. That defeat shook our confidence and the likes of Ozil and Di Maria have failed to find their original form since.

You would expect someone like Mourinho to be perfect coach when confidence is down.

Cup competitions are good, but according to me being competitive in the league is number one priority (even though that might not be the case for majority of Madridistas).

Even if you don't win the league, you need to be in the running for atleast the last three games.

I wouldn't be pleased one bit if we completely took our focus off the league now to concentrate on just the cup games. In other words I do not want to do what Liverpool did in 2005.

Not saying that they should focus on cup competitions as there is still a long way to go in the league but at the moment, the former does offer Mourinho the best chance to win trophies with Real Madrid.

Where's Ronaldo?

Atletico Madrid are such a joke. Decided to play only after the break, already 2-0 down. Their first half tactic of defending it out was ridiculous considering they have no defence other than David De Gea.

Atletico Madrid has always been erm... Atletico Madrid. ;)

Much better performance tonight. The build up play still isn't right but the intensity was good as was the pace. I remember at the start of the season we showed killer space, especially on the counter. This however was not visible in our recent games.

Shame that Ronaldo couldn't get his hattrick and an even bigger shame that Casillas wasn't able to keep a clean sheet despite making some fantastic saves. Unlucky.

Was just about to post that haha.

Fantastic interview with a true legend of the game. Some really interesting stuff in there. This has made me love him even more if that was even possible!
