Interesting read.

"Mourinho has been fortunate to have taken charge of four strong sides packed full of high-quality international players and, in the case of Chelsea, Inter and Real,"

Looking at that Porto side now, it's easy to say oh they had Deco, Carvalho etc but what we have to remember is, is that these were just your run of the mill players before Mourinho took over. He made them brilliant.

Very true this.

With Real Madrid's win over Levante, that means it has been 9 long years since Mourinho suffered a home defeat in the league. :clap

So Unlucky. Poor refereeing (again!!), the woodwork and a brilliant Aranzubia denied us our goals tonight. Could have scored five.

The curse of the Riazor. Thought we ended it last season.

Yeh he really has made himself look like a total ████ since he joined Madrid. At first it was funny, now it's just stupid and immature. And his continual whinging about referees is ridiculous and baseless as well.

Not baseless. Compared to Barca, we have had a rough time with refereeing decisions this season.

Sometimes decisions don't go your way and you get a bit of bad luck, but Madrid have been utterly ridiculous in their witch hunt this season. That editing of the image to make a Barca player look more offside sums it up. And Mourinho makes out as if everyone's against him, even though he has the backing of Marca and AS, the two biggest sports media outlets in Spain, and it's something the likes of Pellegrini never had.

Pellegrini finished the season with record points, and yet everything was his fault. Why didn't he play Lass over Mahmadou, why didn't he play x player, why didn't he play x formation? Mourinho was humiliated 5-0 by Barca, drew with the bottom of the league and his side have continually looked toothless, and yet it's everyone else's fault.

Perfect point there.

Sad to see Afellay being not used properly at Camp Nou.

As and marca might support mourinho but that does not mean you can blame him for their actions. Mourinho has complained about refereeing but on valid grounds. Certain games such as the Sevilla game were outright ridiculous and cannot be put down to sheer bad luck.

And in the league he is only 1 pt behind what Pellegrini's team had achieved at this stage last season. Also he has successfully taken us to the CDR final where Pellegrini's team suffered an embarassing defeat to Segunda B side Alcorcon in the first stage. We are also better off in the Champions League having picked up a draw and a vital away goal at Lyon, having lost the same fixture last season under Pellegrini. If we qualify for the QF I'd say we have already done better than last season.

I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is, Mourinho continually whines and complains that the world is against him. Really needs to grow up and start blaming himself and his side for their failures.
