They just finished their chances, it was quite an open game and it could have gone either way at 1-0.

Iniesta saves our back side with that late late equaliser. Alonso's sending off hurt us big time, but with Latvia beating Northern Ireland, we are still pretty safe to make it through. A win over Latvia on Wednesday is so crucial now.

Almeria played well though and I think they will easily survive relegation this season. Higuain's

Barca win a tough encounter with Sevilla, but there are few questions being raised about Ronaldinho's future, after he was not picked in the squad.

Good assist by Henry and brilliant finish by Messi to score the first goal. Sevilla have had a week to forget.

horrible performance by madrid today, but we still get the point to remain top. nothing seemed to be working, and we kept losing possession (guti!!!). salgado should never play on the right again, and marcelo too doesnt have the quality to play for this great club. but i understand that schuster had to rest some of the main guys because of the congested fixtures lined up.

I, for one, was really disappointed when we lost 1-0 to betis in pre-season. Probably it was because of how late the goal was scored, but since then I have been determined to beat them, and cant wait for Raul and the boys to do exactly that tomorrow.

Barca have a tricky game against Zaragoza, as the two Milito brothers prepare to face off for the first time.

Messi has been awesome. Everytime he has the ball, he creates problems. Really, he has been the spark in this Barca side in their recent games.

Another not very convincing performance and once again Guti had a poor game. I think Schuster should rest him in the weekend so that he is fresh and fit for the Champions League tie against Lazio.

Legendary goal by Baptista in the end, and maybe he deserves a start as well. Miguel Torres had a good game at the right, even though the extremely fast Mark Gonzalez beat him on a couple of occassions.

We are back on top of the table.
