Who will win the La Liga this season?

Its only the basques, but considering that Barca had a few of their players unavailable, it was a good win. Pique is turning out some poor performances though in recent games, both for Barca and Spain. Should be dropped.

Depor always play their best football against us. Glad we got the win though, and Lass' strike was awesome. His partnership with Alonso is very crucial and allows the likes of Kaka, Ronaldo and Raul to concentrate on moving forward.

Even at this early stage, the team-work shown by the players is good to watch.

It hasn't been made official yet, but Lucas Neill has signed with Atletico Madrid on a 2 year deal worth 8.5 million dollars according to a news channel in Australia (Channel 7).

Here's one source I've found but other then what I heard on Channel 7, nothing. Goal.com appears to be saying Atletico have ceased their chase for him, wrong yet again.

EDIT: Been checking more sites, his Lucas' wikipedia entry has already been edited accordingly, he's taken the No. 15 jersey.

Yeah SBS, from Craig Foster himself said he has signed with Athletico.

I reckon Lucas wants some more cash before he retires.

Good decision from Lucash Neil. Didn't want to stay in England because highly earned players lose half their pay to tax or something along those lines I read.

Good career move though (From an Australian POV, regardless that it was for money.)

Spain made it through to the WC last night. Despite having won all their games, they still had to wait till this long to confirm their place in the WC, due to Bosnia's impressive performances.

Overall things look brilliant. Only that one defeat to USA as a blemish, and there was no Senna then, and he is back now.

Little annoyed with Torres. His goal conversion rate for Spain is pretty poor. I mean when compared to Villa's especially, its a bit disappointing. He missed like some 200 chances in the last two games alone. I say give Guiza and Llorente a chance now.

Espanyol are a good side, especially at home so last night's result was great for us. Kaka was exceptional, creating two of the three goals.

Still need to keep more possession of the ball though. Always a good sign when you are winning without playing at your best.

Hardly a surprise is it. If you are good in La Liga, you are going to be awesome in Serie A. Besides Eto'o was fast enough in Spain, so he must be causing havoc in Italy.
