Oh dont say that way! It was not a campering to home by the Indians! It was AN UTTER COMPREHENSIVE WIN for the Indians! An all round superb performance, restricting Sri Lanka to 261 and then scoring it from a precarious situation of 180/6!!!

Salutes to Dhoni! More than Dhoni, Suresh Raina deserves maximum applause! Any other guy with the kind of experience Raina had would have succumbed to the pressure! Raina looks a superb prospect for India! Yuvraj's place is under threat!

I am definitely sure that if this consistency is maintained, this team will seriously challenge Australia and England soon for cricketing supremacy!

Atapattu - ' We thought we put up a good score, but again things
are not going too good for us here, they ended up finishing the
game pretty well - things are not going well for us at the moment'

Yes. Consistency is the key here. This was India's first series win at home since 2001, when they beat Zimbabwe 3-2. This was also the first series win overall since that fantastic 3-2 win over Pakistan in Pakistan in March-April 2004.

I liked the Dhoni style finish.
Wack 2 huge sixes when 12 runs were required to win.

On NDTV they showed the reactions of people in Kolkata on India's win.
Some B***gali idiots said that they were happy to see India win,but would have been happire if Ganguly had played in the match.

If he had played India wouldn't have won for them to celebrate.

This the best Indian team I've seen after the 2003 WC.

I pray to GOD that Ganguly must not return & this team should remain.

Though I agree with the above post, one must not forget that this Team India was formed by Ganguly in the first place.

Yes,Ganguly did transform an Indian team that was nothing to a lethal side in 2003.

But he didn't know to maintain it.He messed it up completely & brought it to a position where the team would be better without him.

GO INDIA GO!!!!!!!!, a comprihensive win by India, India have outplayed the lankans in all 4 games, I would have never imagined it winning the first 4 games agiasnt the second best odi team in the world while India's ranked 7, evreyone ( apart from sehwag and Yuvraj) has clicked in the series, whats good for India is the new boys are playing good and thiers good future for Indian cricket when Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly, Laxman and Dravid retires, India's on the right road for world cup 2007 glory.
