I'd say we should keep Kaif and put Rao as a supersub. Raina is handy in the field. We should then bowl first...

Or, we could Rest Dravid and Sachin-having already won the series-and Bring in Kaif and Gambhir/Ganguly.

The only person who now looks out of place in this squad is JP Yadav. Kaif has to replace him. We can have a bowler as a Super sub with Raina in the XI so that we can go in with 5 bowlers.

Its tough to replace Rao but in the unlikely situation of Ganguly returning, Rao should make way! This is the time when Rao and Raina are being tested and exposed to international experience. They will get some matches but to have them for all matches might be asking a lot! Seniors with experience are also bound to come in handy!

World Champions - Dont say that yet Zorax! We have been masters at squandering golden opportunities! We need to maintain this show! Our next aim is to beat South Africa as convincingly as this Sri lanka team which is No.2 in the world! If we can do that, they we will be in a position to beat anyone!

Yadav will be okay actually as a super sub. Onyl problem will be the fifth bowler one again. Is Tendulkar fit enough to bowl?

SA will provide a better challenge and they should be called the 2nd best team in the world. SL have got nothing.

It will be great battle bewteen the 2 sides. Both now have big hitters down the order.

good job by india today....Who do u think is going to be man of the series?? quite alot of competetors in Tendulkar (brilliant comeback), Dravid (Great batting and awesome captaincy), Dhoni (183 and cracking stuff in the end of the innings and great keeping), pathan (brilliant allround performances, 83 and 4-47(?) )

Maybe even ajit agarker, even though i regret saying it. Good bowling, and good fielding by him too. I still hate him though.

Yes,Ganguly did transform an Indian team that was nothing to a lethal side in 2003.

But he didn't know to maintain it.He messed it up completely & brought it to a position where the team would be better without him.

If India beat Sri Lanka 7-0 and South Africa 5-0, it would be a 12-0 drubbing! But I am not hoping for that to happen! I want India to beat Sri Lanka 7-0 because it will push them up to No.4 in the ICC ODI rankings and push Sri Lanka to No.7 which would be an unbelievable thud to the earth for them!!!!

Who is the spinner from South Africa who is going to play in India? With no Boje, looks like South Africa will have a problem stopping the Indian batsman!

South Africa have attacking batsman! So India would have to work a lot on stopping them! I guess the experience of Zaheer can be brought back (Zaheer is bowling well in the Duleep trophy taking 6 wickets!).

Lets finish Sri Lanka 7-0! Would be a the best victory in recent times!

You never what could happen, I want India to win the Lankans 7-0, altough I think the lankans might win 2 games, I also want India to win all the test's in this years test series vs the lankans, it would make my year if India wins the lankans 7-0 and the south africans 5-0, the south africans am without run getter Gibbs, and specialist spinner Boje.

I am pretty sure the 5-0 against SA (even though they are without Gibbs and Boje) wont happen. But the 7-0 against SL is very much on the cards.

Do you know one thing? Sri Lanka werent in bad form before this series started! They had that IndianOil Cup victory over India and those victories over the minnow sides too! And that tag of World No.2 also to boast of (now they're No.4 and would be No.7 if India whitewashes them 7-0!).

I definitely think South Africa will find it tougher to adjust to the Indian conditions than the Lankans! And with the series starting soon after the Lanka series, the Indians are bound to retain their touch! Lets hope for the best from India!

agarkar was impressive though i cant figure out how he can get hammered in 5 or 6 matches and come back and bowl really well or how he can make 7 ducks in a row and be able to make a century at Lord's..i remember he once took a six wicket haul in tests against australia and i thought he had finally secured a permanent place in the test squad. but no! he was dropped again!
against sri lanka he was awesome but it is more than probable that he'll go for around six an over in the next match. thats typical agarkar for you! the same thing applies to his batting as well. i am sure that till the day he retires or gets dropped forever(which is more probable) he wont be able to cement his place in the side and he'll always be in and out of the side. but he WILL bowl a few devastating spells and he WILL play a few spectacular innings before he quits cricket!
