Super 8: 16th Match India v WI

All those predicting failure for Rohit have failed

Why, he is poor batsmen who has had a good run in a few 20/20 games. Let?s see how he goes on a pitch with bounce.

Well how many test matches has he played against those three.

Played 9 against Kumble, 7 against Muralitharan and 2 against Warne. So that's 18 Tests against the best spinners of his era, and 0 hundreds. Doubt you'll find many guys that are considered genuinely good players of spin with a record as poor as that against the best spinners.

Well to be fair I never said he was good, I just he wasn't bad.

Good bounce there from Taylor.

Rohit Sharma will get out within the first two overs.

:D............I'm on fire.

Raina gone ! India need a good and quick partnership now.

WTF happenning? Gambhir gone too.

Good job, this is what happens when you play all your cricket on flat, dead pitches.

Impressive catch that by simmons.

ANd edwards is bowling really good, extremely fast. Up to 155kph

Taylor started good in that first over :happy:happy:happy

Good start for the West Indies... I think this partnership (Dhoni-Yuvraj) is the key. The recovery has to BE HERE!

People wanted Raina at No.3 but he failed bigger today! Dont tell me he needs time there. He has been playing the IPL and here in England, he has had the taste of the conditions.

And these are the pitches that dominate international cricket today for 85-90% of the time. So we are good enough

West Indies got off to a good start. I don't know why our players were trying to continually pull the fast, short bowling.

The thing separating the two sides so far has been fielding. Lendl Simmons' second catch, the one running towards deep square leg to dismiss Gambhir was pretty awesome and I'd back most others in their team to drop that one.

Sooooooooooo

If you dont have any knowledge of other teams post about your team only.

Care to add anything useful next time?

Good ploy from the Windies to get the spinners on as Yuvi is probably one of the worst players of spin in our XI.

Okay then. Since most teams play on these dead pitches it allows players like Sharma, Raina and Yuvraj Singh to get away with average techniques. Thus when they play on anything with a bit of life in it they look like rubbish.
