Who would you have picked to replace Sehwag? I don't see many evident choices, besides Karthik - he probably was the best bet from IPL performances. Kohli wasn't brilliant, Uthappa was shabby, Badri is not T20, Vijay never got enough opportunities...am I missing out on any other major fringe players?

Pandey?

That's the thing with you're Raina's and Sharma's. They haven't played enough cricket and still haven't developed all the skills they need to play international cricket. They might look good in the IPL, but international cricket is a lot tougher.

What's your point? He's clearly a good player to anyone with half a brain. But I guess that's your downfall.

half brain? i attend harvard i think i have a brain. my point is everton and liverpool are rivals. only gloryhunters think that way but i GUESS GLORY HUNTING is your downfall.

Besides El Nino is awesome. I would say the same if he was a Blaugrana. Hell, he played for the scum before joining Liverpool. He is still awesome.

The scum? You mean Atletico Madrid? I support them! :p And, yes, El Nino is awesome.

And, yeah, people need to settle down. India lost, fair and square, end of.

Karthik had a pretty decent tour of England last time around as well. But the point is that I think Dhoni preferred not to play two keepers in the same XI, since I believe he hasn't had great results with that in the past. A specialist batsman, specifically an opener, may have been a good idea.

Taking a look at the IPL 2 stats Kohli would probably have been the best bet. Or they could have pulled a complete random and sent someone like Manish Pandey. :p Though I think that may have short-circuited the young guy's career.

Your grammar isn't what I would expect of a Harvard student. Guess they are more lenient with standards these days eh?.

I support the England cricket team and Everton mate. If you think that's hunting glory then you have a seriously dodgy perception of what glory is. Fail

I tihnk we should have picked anyone who knew how to play the short ball.

HAHA, seeing the way some of the Indian fans are reacting is brilliant. Bitter, sour grapes, humble pie. All these words come to mind. People like LongLegs and PranavPathak deserve a PC medal (:p) though. A lot of respect for them in being so gracious in defeat and accepting that some Indians deserve this after the comments that every member outside of India has had to endure for the last two years.

There's no glory with either team :p. Far from gloryhunting ;).
