Rahul Dravid guides India to an easy win !

Harsha Bhogle : India have beaten th West Indies by 5 wickets with almost 20 overs to spare thanks to a brilliant 73 of just 58 balls by Rahul Dravid . The wickt had nothing in it for the batsmen but Dravi batted in an uncharacteristic manner even when India lost 4 quick wickets to guide India to an easy win in the end . That means India have won it with a bonus point and stay at the top of the table !

----------------------------Presentation Ceremony------------------------

Paul Allot : Welcome to the Presentation ceremony for Game 6 of the Natwest Pentangular where Rahul Dravid has guided India to an easy 5 wickt win !
I would like to call upon B.Lara to have a chat .
Brian , tough luck. Decision to bat backfiring ?

Lara : We did not bat well enough and that cost us the game .

Allot : Did you feel 194 was defendable .

Lara : yes we did . Especially when we got India down to 98/4 we had a real good chance but Rahul batted superbly .

Allot : Good luck for the next one against the Aussies at Southampton .
May I now invit the winning captain, R.Dravid. Rahul, your team`s dream run in the series continues !

Dravid : I hope it stays so till the end of the series . We did well to restrict them to 194 . When we came on to bat , Sachin and Sourav did well to take us to 73/0 but I thought we made heavy weather of it by losing 4 quick wickets . Our next match is against England at Lords and I hope its a better batting wicket than this one !

Allot : You seemed to have no problems batting on this track and you blasted 73 of 58 balls which also fetches you the Sky Sports MOM award !

Rahul : I felt that the only way to score runs here ws by attacking and luckily it came off ! Thank You Paul .

Allot : thats it from the presentation party . See You at Southampton For AUSTRALIA V WEST INDIES .

Upcoming Matches
Australia V West Indies at Southampton
India V England at The Brit Oval

HELP NEEDED : I found another bug with C2k4 . In the ongoing Natwest Pentangular , India have won 3 and tied 1 but in the team standings it is displayed as India won1 lost 1 tie 1 !!!! Australia`s standing is displayed as played 4 , won 3 tie 1 eventhough they have not yet played 4 matches??? This has spoilt the whole series ! any help

The better thing for story threads would be to create an Excel file with All tables set up and you track the points, scores, wickets, etc by yourself entering them after each match.. this c2004 thing does not work correctly always. And if you are looking only for points, then it should be easier to track the points all by urself. thats why i never play with custom tournaments. when i start a series, i play each match as a single exhibition match!

the pentangular will resume tomorrow

Yep mate good work.

The Aussies better beat West Indies tomorrow.

hi aditya!
waiting for your series to resume.
thanks!
