The PlanetCricket Battrick Sledging Thread

I've got a team that you should know all about Angry:

Millers Maniacs
wonderful
feeble
worthless
strong
sensational
feeble

Wooo, made it through into the next round. Nice amount of controversy on the boards surrounding that match, as apparently the NT manager was meant to call up my opposition's star batsman after the match and he did it beforehand!!! Still, I'm really happy with this RS I got:

Livingston Lions

Top Order: sensational
Middle Order: remarkable
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: exquisite
Spin Bowling: masterful
Fielding: mediocre

Just a shame I won't be going any further :p

The Southern Rangers

Top Order: elite
Middle Order: remarkable
Lower Order: feeble
Seam Bowling: elite
Spin Bowling: exceptional
Fielding: respectable

I always try to make it interesting don't you worry.

We made our teams at similar times so it shouldn't be a problem. I'll be playing my top XI also.

You're team is a bit better BT rating wise, but it should be a pretty close match.

We should make a rivalry out of this, a regular match or something.

I'm unbeaten this season. Loving it. Just had one draw, and that was because I forgot to set orders and ended up with 860/5 in my second innings at sumps day 3.

Why'd jakester get banned?

Being a tool and flaming.

But my team, Off Drive, could be close to pulling off the best win in the clubs 4 season history. Bowled out for 138 with only 3 scorers getting to double figures, one of them extras :p. Then managed to restrict them to a fair 231, recent signing Perry picking up a 6fer for just 38 runs. Pretty impressive bowling from the young lad.

In response, I am currently 372/5. Had a shuffle with the orders. The skipper, Elam lead the way with 172 whilst trainnee Vivekanand chipped in with a useful 76. Unfortunately I have a fairly long tail, so I'm gonna have to hope they can stick around for Norris (who is only a comp/prof, but is on 60) and try to establish a lead of around 350. Before ending the game with a tense finish. Really looking for a draw here, but would like a win. If we draw I know I won't come out the upper hand of it and considering i'm already 3 points behind, it's on the risky side.

However, we play each other in the last game of the season as well, so I will have to look to win that one, and should have a stronger side by then aswel!
