2.5 ITS on a skill = 1 level gain on that skill. So you get a pull who has random skills (most likely all round worthless), put ITS on the skills, and then boom, you get a pull.

12ITS on a skill = Mediocre minimum.

Do we get a certain amount of ITS each week? Or is it a limited amount for the season/ever

If you invest 20k in your academy, you get 10 ITS a week and the max you can collect in a season is 100 ITS

so if I invest nothing then I have a fixed amount and I don't get any more? Because I'm presuming it's not a good idea to invest anything when I'm just beginning?

No, the youth pulls are pretty much a lottery. It's pretty much 70k for a decent youth pull and you're still only guaranteed a Mediocre pull, so you may as well buy some Med/Med's for 1k off the market or some Comp/Comp's which barely cost anything as well.

Yeah, Hedger's right. No point in investing in academy now. Just buy med/med or comp/comp 17yo for like 1-2k and train them

So I may as well use the ITS I have atm and then not bother about it for a number of season?

Well it's best to use the ITS at the start of the season but I don't know, you may as well get kickstarted and hope for the best, and train that player. How much ITS do you start with again?

I think you get given 50. I would wait until the start of the season and try your luck then, it just means that if you happen to get a gun youth pull then you can sell him and make quite a bit of money or have yourself a star player. You probably will be able to make two pulls since you won't be able to allocate the maximum 35 ITS since your academy won't be superb (You can check under Max ITS: ?)
