Sri Lanka R Us - don't seem to want to play - it's now Saturday -any challenge accepted many made.

Hasan has yet to accept my challenge. Won another league game yesterday, the 5th out of 5 as manager. Don't have the same record in friendlies, but I have been against very strong teams.

How many more Group matches are there? And After that will you arrange our next groups according to that?
There are 1 more set of group matches, but after that the matches which were postponed due to cup games will be played, and Bombay Blues have 4 to play so it will be a long time yet until the quarter finals will begin so some of you will have some weeks off to prepare!

The deadline is 1800GMT tonight so if it not accepted by then he will forfitt, same goes for Hasan, his is the most weirdest non acceptance one because he needs to win this game to have a chance of going through.

Please do not arrange friendlies before 1800GMT because you will then forfitt the game.

how about wwe play the quarter final gamnes that we can play due to finished groups, i mean the team whoa re through play each, posibly only get 1/2 semi finalists that way but it will be better for me

You cant say it will be better for you or not because you dont know who you will be playing in the next round yet! You could be playing a team who still have 2 or 3 matches to play which is why all the quarter finals will be played at the same time.

Just a final thing about the quarter finals, if any inactive teams make it through to the next round, they will be replaced by the best 2nd place active team.

Preview Of Tomorrow

Okay this is something different but because its the last week of the group stages, I decided to do this!

Tomorrow see's the conclusion (for most teams) of the group games and for some of them it is a must win situation.

Group 1
With not much to play for in Group 1, The Cricket Geniuses managed by Adarsh can afford to loose tomorrow at the New York Champs and still have the comfort of going through. The Geniuses are unbeaten and will look to this game to give them a strong platform to go through to the Quarter Finals.

Group 2
The Rabbitohs have dominated the group thus far and look quite comfortable, but with the dark horses The Bombay Blues only having played once after a very strong cup run, everything is to play for tomorrow. The Old Wulfs will look to finish strongly and blunt the Blues charge to the top, while the Rabbitohs will not look forward to a trip to The Game CG who won strongly there on Friday.

Group 4
The group is probably one of the most open in the tournament with all 4 teams still having a strong chance of going through if results go there way. The Pakistani Pingers lead by just one point and travel to Casino 36 tomorrow who are just 3 points behind despite laying in 3rd. The aply named Wunchabankers welcome the Bushwackers in what is a must win game for the home team if they want to keep themselves alive in the group.

Group 5
In what is a huge game, Zoraxdoom takes his TT Lions to the Jazz Messengers in a 1st v 2nd contest. If the Messengers win they will guarantee there place in the Quarter Finals, but if the Lions records a victory, they would surely be through with the advantage of an extra game at the inactive Didcot Dragons. Its do or die for both teams.

Group 6
Everton finish their fine group campaign with a trip to India to face the Borncricketers XI. Despite the game being a top v bottom one, both teams will want to take something from the game with Everton hoping to finish strongly and give them some momentum to take into the Quarter Finals and Borncricketers looking to take some pride from the tournament by recording their first victory. The Cricketers National Ground awaits both teams.

Group 7
Its 1st v 2nd in the group as Briggs XI welcomes shane28688 to The Briggs Dome. With Briggs XI having already qualified, the suprise package of the group may look to cause another suprise by inflicting Briggs XI first defeat in 11 games, but with a good run of victories on their side, including a nail biting one at The Titans Oval #1 earlier in the campaign, it wont be easy. Should be a cracker in store.

Group 8
Another group where all is to play for. With The Falcons still having 2 games in hand after tomorrow, it could all come down to when they welcome Hasis Legends to the ZCG. Victories for both tomorrow would put them in strong positions, but with the Chris Killers and Challengers XI both having won comprehensively in the league on Friday and with the Killers lying in 2nd at the moment, it could be an interesting day in the group.
