I have always thought Nel was underrated. Its a shame hes had to go home. Big blow for SA.

I can't see Sri Lanka winning a game this series.

Well Martyn has to be surely back in contention in the test lineup despite receiving a bit of luck last night. He is on fantastic form and I think there are several gaps in the Aussie test team. If nnot Martyn than Clarke. I also don't see Sri Lanka winning a game but I hope that they can cause an upset or two in the tournament. And plus it is only 1 game, there are another 7 more games for Sri Lanka.

Hodge is the opening in our test line up as I don't see Symonds being dropped so quickly. And when he does it will be for Watson. So if Hodge continues to fail Martyn could be back for the Ashes. After that he should retire as there isn't much more he has left to do in the game.

I don't think Martyn will be recalled into the test side anytime soon. Michael Clarke is dominating the Pura Cup, averaging over 300 with the bat IIRC, and is in good ODI form as well.

Langeveldt is injured too. I don't see South Africa winning the next ODI against Australia.

SA batting is their strong point. With Kemp down the order they will always be a threat chasing last, much like NZ.

Langeveld injured! Our whole bowling attack is injured now!I hope that Steyn has been sent over and Van Der Wath, coz Zondeki sucks and is going to get smashed all over, and Garnett Kruger didn't do too well in the warm-up match.Pollock,Kruger,Hall,Kallis,Botha that will be our most likely attack if we don't get replacements sent quickly.

Both the attacking bowler Nel and Langeveldt are injured, so might be again an easy win for australia but magic can happen this time, and then there will be chance of winning S. Africa.

I predict another Aussie win........thier main batsmen and bowlers are finding form, but never rule the South Africans out, Pollock I feel is the key in thier bowling line up.

Martyn without a doubt should be no. 4 in the Test side. I reckon most pundits would be in agreeance with this statement.

However, he is "unavailable" so the next guy up should be either Darren Lehmann or Brad Hodge, if we are basing selection on performance records (for middle order batsmen).

Why not Clarke? He still averages just 40 in First Class cricket. Now certainly, that doesn't make him an awful player, but what it signifies is that he is more of a liability at the crease than probably 15 other batsmen in Australia.

All I need to see from him is to add a few runs to his average, because that would show that his consistency has dramatically jumped. I know he's very talented and that he does fantastic work in the ODIs and a place in the Test side is probably his birthright, indeed I enjoy watching him bat, but I don't believe in rewarding talent without the necessary effort.

pollock and kallis are the 2 main players in S. African side, cuz smith and gibbs r not in form and then couple of bowlers r out of the side, so kallis and pollock has to play well to win the game.

Steyn is still in South Africa. Unless he took a turbo jet. I know it, because I saw this. Check out also De Villiers' score.
