It will be interesting to see if in the analysis of that event whether Sri Lanka are met with the same degree of hostility that Australia would have been met with had the shoe been on the other foot. I think the double standards will yet again prevail and it will be glossed over.

It will also be interesting to see what will be made of Attapattu and others questioning the umpire after they had said not out, to me they had to be asking why it wasn't given, something Brett Lee was chastised for. Again, I reckon nothing.

Yeah, I think that the Sri-Lankan's wont be scutinized (like they should) for arguing with the ump and claiming the catch.

And over appealing! Oh well I don't care about the little stuff of the game unless a player gets banned for it.

Great fightback by Aus and now Murali is being played as easy as a chicken.
I wonder if these two will stay in to the end.

I still think that they should be atleast fined for their behaviour. Suspension in the finals would be harsh.

Great century for the Punter :clap

and a six from Symo to cap it off :D

Exactly what I was going to post and Symo smashed that 6 off Murali. So much for not being able to play him. I wonder if this wicket is spinning much as Murali is being played very easily.

I think we'll make 187.. And SL to chase it down by the 42nd over :)

Hang your head in shame :( or brillant stuff for cursing the Sri Lankans :)

well pom being the face of the commentary team may not be good but he is sleak and highly proffessional.
he never even mentions england or compares them with the australians. and i have never heard him be negative towards the home team...unlike Greig.

If your talking about Nicholas then I agree with you. He's a good commentator. And the most important thing is that he is unbiased.

Hes on right now and as you guys stated very unbias. Just talks cricket, and of course when there is a close call like the Ponting one you will know what ever he calls it, it will be the right one.

:clap Roy first ever 100 in Australia. Lets see some 6s now!

Damn, you know my secret...

I think the worst of most situations so when it does improove or go our way then I am much much happier.

Great comeback by Symonds and Ponting, kept cool under the pressure and handled Murali with confidence despite their position in the match. Greig's not even South African is he, just born there with Scottish parents or something. I think he's a good commentator, but Slater was quality as well with Channel 9. Mark Nicholas is very professional but is slowly becoming an Australian fan;) Healy just adds another personality to the team, not necessarily a good commentator though. I feel Chappell is the best, talks cricket obviously, unbiased and informative.

Ouch Ponting dropped by Arnold that could prove costly.

BTW who should come in next? Hussey or Clarke? I think Hussey as this is his period.

Wow, what a comback. I switched on when it was 3/20 but what an amazing show! Greig was very annoying after that... I still think it hit the ground first.
Ponting got another let-off just then.

Hes got some connection to England cause he played for them. But he is more South African these days.

Maybe a bit late for Hussey actually, his period is a tad earlier than the 40 over mark. But the question is do we bring in a big hitter like Lee? Or do we go hussey and clarke still and settle for 4's and maybe the odd 6?
