Trans-Tasman Trophy (NZ in Australia), December 2011/12

Hussey's record against NZ isn't that great anyway, only averaging 27. He's one guy I expected to come good this series though, otherwise his position should be scrutinised too.

Thing is, I've always thought Hussey looks in trouble when he can't leave on length alone? That's my own personal opinion. To be honest, I think it stretches to a fair few Aussie batsmen.

Because with the pitch playing a little bit up and down, suddenly he has to play at it?

According to another thread on this forum that makes me depressed just reading it, NZ innings was almost a long and well crafted innings :P

Siddle's had a plethora of ducks lately and I dropped him from my fantasy team, no doubt a 30+ is on the cards for him today.

Wahey :)

After the away series to India, I'd forgotten I could watch cricket on Sky player! :)

It doesn't exactly look that difficult out there? Obviously it's not easy, but seriously, when did people forget how to bat?

Siddle should bat properly while he's got a batsman there to think for him.

----------

Though that's not saying much of numbers 1-7

Siddle will want some runs, might end up being dropped down the order.

----------

FMD now Clarke getting out in similar fashion.

Seriously, bit of movement. But leave on line when length balls are hitting off. This is barely 25 overs in. On a difficult pitch your openers are supposed to try and see of the first session (30 overs). Does anyone in Australia think Hughes and Warner (or either) are likely to do that?

Haha. Oh dear!!

Cover your bleedin' stumps and pull your bat inside the line if it doesn't jag in.

To be fair to Clarke, I've seen him do that before :p

We need browlies...

Nobody knows if it's gonna jag...

Haha, I wasn't even including that one Angry :)

As I said... Aussie batsmen, have a problem with leaving on length ;)
