I said I will probably lose the ODI series, yeah. I actually think I might do. I'm pretty sure I won't win them all, like I've done every tour but we'll see. ;)

Just kill him and lets get over it.:p

Getting desperate, I see? :p

Reaction
Well a tough game, but we got the win, however close it was.

We bowled fairly well, keeping the runs down on a batting track. We didn't pick up wickets, but we did enough to give ourseleves a good shot at winning. Shoaib returned to the side, but he looked a little out of sorts. Anjum and Razzaq struggled, and it was left to the spinners to sort things out. Afridi in particular was brilliant, conceeding just 25 runs from his 10 overs.

In reply we started fairly well. Khan and Yousuf got starts but couldn't go on, as did Misbah. Luckily Butt continued his fine tour with another hundred, and along with a fine 32 from Anjum, we set up a win. Razzaq and Akhtar saw us over the line with 2 balls to spare, giving us a hard fought lead in the series.

The innings start poorly for South Africa as all of their top order fail to do any good. Smith(19), Gibbs(2) and Kallis(11) all couldn't get going and fell to Nazir and Kaneria. The middle order was more successful as Rudolph(47) and De Villiers(48) managed to get the South African innings back on track. Duminy(6) didn't really capitalise on the momentum that the batsmen just built up. Puttick made a run a ball 38 and Poolock made a run a ball 23* to help end the South African innings on a high but it was a slow and boring innings mainly. Kaneria was very good with the bowling, manaing 3-29 and getting 3 key batsmen out. Nazir(2-42) and Malik(1-39) both helped towards the bowling with average figures. For once, Arafat and Afridi failed to pick up wickets.

It was our turn to bat and it didn't start too promisingly as Tariq got caught by Smith on 7. Khan and Inzi steered our innings into the right direction with 44 and 34 respectively and got us to 91/3. We were batting fast and were on course to get the victory. Yousuf and Afridi put on 96 together which basically sealed the victory for us. Yousuf made 42 and Afridi got past his half century and made 56. They both fell towards the end of the innings to leave Arafat 9* and Niazi 2*. It was a simple win in the end and hopefully we can keep this up.

What a win. A complete thrashing of the highest order.

We bowled superbly, the best we've bowled all tour. The pitch had a little in it for the bowlers and we made use of it. Afridi was exceptional once again, and Anjum was superb with the new ball. Akhtar was rusty once again, maybe time to give Asif or Sami a go.

Batting wise we were great. Butt failed for a change, and the two old boys mopped it up. Khan bagged a fine 77* and Yousuf made 56*, although at times he looked out of sorts. A big win, that leaves us needing just another win to seal a double series victory.

We had a terrible start as Tariq got a duck and Iqbal got 6 runs as we ended up having the worst start ever. When it goes wrong we can always rely on our middle order. Inzi made a quick fire 84 off 97 to get us back into the match. Afridi made a 30 ball 25 and then Arafat made an 18 ball 25 as we continued to bat well and fast. I have mentioned all the people that got out but haven't mentioned the main legend of the innings. Mohammad Yousuf got 131* off 128 balls. His innings was truly inspiring and he just went from strength to strength. Niazi helped finish the innings off with 14* off 12 balls.

South Africa had a poor start, better than ours, as Smith(19) and Gibbs(1) didn't wait around long. Kallis had a little cameo and got bowled by Afridi one short of his half century, which was a little disappointing for the all rounder. Rudolph could only manage 2 and for the second match in a row, Duminy didn't make double figures and got a golden duck. De Villiers puffed and puffed to get 22 runs but he batted in vain. Puttick was the only batsman afterwards to stage any resistance as he shot his way to a run a ball 48 before getting out to our best bowler Arafat. Arafat got his first ever International 5fer, ending up with 6-35. All the other bowlers got 1 wicket, with Nazir being the best of the rest with 1-19. One more ODI win and thats the series wrapped up.

By the power of Grayskull! How the hell did they chase that?!

We were awesome first up with the bat, batting first for one of the first times on the tour. We hammered it all over the place, the only thing stopping us from 400 was our running between the wickets. 3 of our 4 wickets were run outs, and all to the top 3, surprisingly not Inzi. Misbah was amazing, smashing 139* from 119 balls. Afridi played well also, alongside Butt (49), Khan (31) and Inzi (40). I thought they would not get close to such a big total, how I was wrong.

They batted like us, only better. They smashed it around, but because of regular wickets I felt we had it in the bag. JP Duminy was the changing factor. He smashed an unbeaten 92 from 78 balls to guide them to victory off the last ball. Gibbs also played a big part hitting 89. Everyone chipped in for them at over a run a ball. Asif was awful, taking 0-97 from his 10 overs, one of the worst bowling figures in history.

This game is probably the 2nd greatest in ODI history, just behind the amazing Australia-South Africa match, where South Africa chased an even bigger target.

On a side note, the amount of run outs in this game was ridiculous. 3 of 4 wickets in our innings, 2 of 8 on theirs!

Khan and Inzi give us a poor start as they make 6 and 2 each respectively but thankfully we have some quality batsmen to help out. Yousuf made a quick 55 and Afridi made a fantastic 68 off 53 balls as we continued to be awesome in One Dayers. The main man was Tariq though. 124 off 146 balls marked a change in form after doing terrible in the last two One Day Internationals. Arafat made a brilliant 39* from 22 and helped us get to the score we did of 300. Niazi got another not out score of 1*, his third not out in as many matches.

Their chase really never got going and Smith(7), Gibbs(17) and Kallis(17) all did poorly as they have done so this series. Duminy made 21 which was the second highest score, and that says something. Rudolph made a quick fire 18 and then after that they got even worse. De Villiers got 3, Puttick got 7 and Pollock got a golden duck. Joubert made a surprise come back but it wasn't enough as his 38 was in vain. All the bowlers got wickets once again but Arafat and Kaneria were the best. 3-27 for Kaneria kept his incredible tour going and Arafat's 3-39 improved his immensely. Both of them are in terrific form. This win marks our series win, 3-0. We can lose the next two and still win the series although I have never lost an ODI with Pakistan and I'm looking to do the same here.
