A wins a win. Tariq and Khan just took them to pieces after Umar got a duck. S Yousuf made a good 61 off 68 on debut which is good for 20 year old. West Indies then batted and Afridi and Kaneria did well as the spin worked well on this pitch. Afridi is having good World Cup so far. Was close though.

Boy did I! A massive win, probably the biggest ever.

No point talking about it as it was just a huge thrashing in a 'dead-rubber' game. Yousuf was awesome, hitting 182 off just 123 balls! Only needed 2 bowlers, both got hit around a bit but both took 5fers.

Reaction
Ireland batted first and all their top order performed until a middle order collapse. They picked it up a bit at the end to get a score of 173, which is more than they should of got to start with. Aitkenhead and Poynter were the best batsmen but there were some other little cameos with Bray, O'brien and McCallan all scoring in the 20's as well. Kaneria got 3-18 and was generally awesome and was backed up well by Arafat, who managed 3-43. None of the other bowlers were very good though, all picking up 1 wicket and being generally expensive.

We then chased down their total rather easily and most of the batsmen scored averagely. They all got starts but couldn't convert the starts into 50's. Khan and Yousuf both got 36 and Tariq got 35, being the top 3 performers. Inzi and Arafat both made 25 in very quick style as we cap a good win which should of been better.

Reaction
An easy win for us in the end started with us winning the toss and electing to bowl first on a bowlers pitch. 231 was all South Africa could muster as most of our bowlers bowled economically well. Kallis and De Villiers were the only real batsmen to make the difference for South Africa, putting 118 on for the fifth wicket and were two of only three batsmen to make at least 12. Puttick being the other, managing 22* off 13 balls. Asif was simply outstanding with Arafat getting another 3 wickets. Apart from these two though, no one else really impressed. Nazir was the worst of the bowlers once again with his 1-65, whilst the spinners got 1-36(Kaneria) and 0-41(Afridi).

Our run chase was successful with us chasing down their score with 2.3 overs to spare. Tariq and Umar were the best batsmen in the innings, both being our openers, which showed our true top order resilience. 114 for the opening wicket was just what we wanted. Shahid Yousuf made 43 with Khan not lasting long for 2 runs. Mohammad Yousuf could only manage a run a ball 20 before getting run out. Inzi(23*) and Arafat(7*) finished off our innings to take us home to record a good win. This World Cup is ours for the taking.

Shocking performance all-round. Only Butt and Nazir played well. Everybody else was awful. Not going to write much about this game, there's no point. Time to move on and forget about it...
