Rain or not,the West Indians were bowled out totally.India would have won by a big margin either ways.
This!
As Rameez Raja said, 'pedestrian stuff' from the Windies bowlers. If I'm correct, Kohli got his 50 in the 43rd over, and all he needed was 7 more overs with the help of Ashwin, and primarily Bravo and co. to get to his first century in the Caribbean. Taking nothing away from Kohli, West Indies had the best chance when Jadeja was out, but all they did was make a mockery of their bowling.
And India will not perform in the same way in 3 consecutive games.
Yeah!
Although quite a few things to be noted, Dinesh Karthik, he has had chances (many) where he can play
his typo innings. That is why he's in the middle order. Yeah he still deserves a chance, but not many coming in the way though, if he fails the same way.
Could somebody tell me if Rayudu is now with the Indian team?
A solid foundation laid by the openers, but the middle order collapsed again, barring Kohli, not sure when they'll understand that the primary thing is to build on, and not play hit/miss!
270 should have been a par score, but India was well helped by their bowlers.
Not surprisinlgy, West Indian middle order failed big time, and this was expected tbh! Lack of depth in the middle order, most of them lack patience, so what it was reduced to 39 overs, atleast try to build on.
Sad to see Darren Bravo getting out cheaply.
Will not talk much about Indian bowlers here
ALthough, Bhuvi is now proving to be such an asset
Whereas for Best, mahn!!He wasn't that fast 10 years ago.(?) Umesh should learn something from him.
IMO, 250-260 are very much defendable targets, unless your bowlers crash the same way the Indians did against the Lanka or the other day what West Indians did.
