Warm-up matches

I'm sure these matches wont be telecasted on telly. So if a player get 10 wickets for no runs or he scores 200 runs will that count in their stats?
Do you not count the Tests played before TV was invented as part of players stats?

Some of these games are on TV, at least in the UK, but they're not official ODIs, nor are they List A games, so, no they don't count towards stats.

Oh sorry I though the Stats they show on broadcast had something to do with it.

For those of you who can't watch the Bermuda v England warm up game, I highly recommend the live text commentary of the game on CricketEurope. The bloke whos doing it is someone known to you all.

So 50-over games between international teams don't get list A status (when most tour games count as first class/list-a) and a joke thing called the "super series" gets test and odi status. Bit of a strange comparison, but sums up the ICC in a way.

Who? ;)

Seriously though, I am looking forward to watching England dominate a match.

It's because they're warm up games.

Thats really stupid.
They should be.

So you think joke matches where teams will be able to use all members of their squad should count towards official stats? Now that's stupid.

I was unaware of that.

These are warm-up matches. Practice matches. Why should they count?
