Warm-up matches

Bermuda could do what Kenya did it at the last World Cup i.e surprising every team.

when i turnt the tele over, it was the 3rd over of bermudas innins, and it was quite worrying to watch because bermuda were hitting it quite well and i thought maybe they might get close to out score, but then after the first wicket, that was them gone really lol.

The only reason Bermuda lost was because Levorock wasn't batting. He'd have eaten the bowling alive...in more ways than one. :D

OMG...shocking batting by SA apart from hall...about 60 required of the last 10 overs by Ireland...they can reach it easily IF they don't lose wickets...COME ON IRELAND!!!

Sorry guys but South Africa managed to pull this one out the bag. That was one hell of a scare.

You know this 'warm up' against Australia, dont you think its more of a deathmatch than a warm up match for England lol, what a game eh....?

What a joke, Bermuda have played poorly here. They lack more than people who have been moulded into flawed techniques. They lack any power hitters or people with any grit and determination.

Mahmood has been hit for another four, against poor opposition he should not play as he really knows how to release pressure.

He was way below pace too, about 7-10 mph down. Saj hasn't been bowling enough, mind you Hemp is a good first class cricketer, but Saj was wayward.

Well I would say Bermuda collapsed, but you have to actually start up a bit to collapse don't you?

That game, well it was a bit of practice for England anyway. Bermuda shot themselves in the foot in a way an American fighter pilot would be proud.

A shock for South Africa... What type of a wicket they played on? Was it a slow and low wicket?

That was a huge score, it can either totally demoralise South Africa in their campaign, or it can act as a big spur to them for greater things.

But I dont think South Africa would be a big force in this World Cup, if the wickets dont offer pace and bounce. On slow and low wickets, they will definitely struggle

Tomorrow's match for India would be exciting for Indian fans. According to me, India has 4 warm up matches in the Carribean. Two official ones, two unofficial ones (vs Netherlands and Bangladesh). They would have warmed up very well by the time they face Sri Lanka at Trinidad. I think thats dangerous when a team like India gets to acclimatise for 4 matches. You have the best chance of attacking India when they are new to the conditions. But by the time they are against Lanka, they would be 4 matches and many days old.

So I think India is going to be a major threat in this World Cup. At least I predict them to reach the final this time round too!

Haha, South Africa almost managed to lose. I wish they had of. I don't think they will suit the WI conditions so I don't think they'll make it to the semi's. I hope i'm right. Unfortonatly they collapsed at the tail :(

England smashed Bermuda, but they are one of the weaker minnows. Still, their bowling seems pretty damn good. They have make such a great improvement.

We are quite lucky to get the toughest opponants, Bangladesh. I hope we smash them!

England batting was shakey until Dalrymple came in and saved them with a 60 odd. But Bermuda never had a chance with their batting especially chasing 286.

Oh so close for Ireland, if their players had more experience against the big teams they probably would have got home.

good confidence booster they will most likely beat zimbabwe

Will Pakistan create an upset today by beating Canada :rtfl
