Adidas, one of the most popular footwear brands, have decided to sponsor the ODI triangular series between India - England - New Zealand to be held in New Zealand. Meanwhile, the telecast rights for this series has been given to Fox Sports and these matches will be telecast live on ESPN-Star Sports in India with Doordarshan also getting the live feed for non set up box users.
These matches will be a mixture of Day and Day/night games. India meets England at Dunedin in the first match of the series.
The Indian squad is scheduled to leave for New Zealand in the next three days. They will be assembling at New Delhi and will leave from thereon to New Zealand. Since John Wright has finished his term as a coach and no coach has been signed up by the BCCI, Sunil Gavaskar is now representing Wright as the temporary Indian coach!
The respective England and New Zealand squads will be announced shortly! Stay tuned!

Indian team arrives in New Zealand
India arrives in New Zealand for their month long tour!
The Indian team has arrived in New Zealand for their month long tour. The Indian team arrived in the wee hours of the morning and landed at the Auckland International Airport and they were frisked away from the airport and they boarded the bus to Dunedin where the first ODI international of the Adidas series is to commence against England.
Meanwhile, the BCCI officials have been very upset about the last minute schedule change of the series which has left them with no practice matches. The team needs at least a practice match to get used to the wickets here in New Zealand which always tend to favor the bowlers a lot. The NZB has accepted the complaint of the BCCI and have arranged a practice ODI match India against the Northern Districts at the same Dunedin ground which is going to host the first ODI international between India and England. The England-India ODI match will start on Tuesday, April 26th and it will be a Day/Night game!
The wicket for the practice match will not be the same wicket that will be used for the first ODI. From what we see in Dunedin, the wicket going to be used for the practice match looks really wet and will surely favor the bowlers! The Indian team, after some rest for a day, will commence their tour with this practice match against the Northern Districts!
