INDIA WIN BY 3 WICKETS!!

In the other end, it might seem a closer win for India but the truth is India have outplayed England today in all departments. India deserve their first win of this triangular series. Here is the over by over update to the win!

26th over: First ball, Dravid beautifully cover drives for four. Second ball, Dravid BOWLED!!!Again tried to cover drive a ball slightly on off stump but missed it and Gough hits the bull's eye. India score 6 runs off the over. India 162/4 and needd 74 runs to win

27th over: A big over for India. Kaif launches into Flintoff hitting him one ball over his head for four and the fourth ball, he on drives for four. India finding it easy at the moment to score runs off some lacklustre bowling by England. India 172/4 and need 64 runs to win at 2.74 per over!

28th over: Jadeja OUT!! Tries to loft a delivery but mistimes to see Trescothick catch the ball at mid off. Gone for 29! Kaif hits a beautiful four through the off side. India 180/5 and need 56 runs to win!

29th over: Again, poor bowling by England as they give 5 more extras. The extras have creeped up to 32. India 187/5 and need 48 runs to win!

30th over: India currently smashing their way to a win here! Kaif hits a boundary of the first ball then Dhoni sweeps a boundary off the fifth ball as India score 11 runs off the over. India 198/5 and need 37 runs to win!

31st over: four byes again as India are surely winning this match. 9 runs off the over as Indians are being hurried to a win here by England. India 207/5 and need 28 runs to win!

32nd over: Same result as the previous over. A boundary followed by a few singles. 8 runs off the over. India 215/5 and need 21 runs to win

33rd over: Brilliant over from Giles. Only two runs off it. This makes Vaughan's decision to persist with his seamers on a perfect batting track stupid! India 217/5 and need 19 runs to win!

34th over: A quiet over from Collingwood as India score only 2 runs from the over. Inconsistency from England will cost them this match. This have bowled brilliant 2 run overs followed by 12 run overs. India 219/5 and need 17 runs to win!

35th over: Brilliant over again by Giles. He is England's best bowler so far.. Only 1 run scored off the over. India 220/5 and need 16 runs to win!

36th over: Kaif OUT!! Kaif gets impatient and lofts the ball to the straight boundary but gets caught. 5 runs off the over as India reach 225/6 and need only 11 runs to win!

37th over: First ball four from Dhoni. 1 run later, Agarkar hits another four and scores 1 more run. Scores level. Dhoni BOWLED by Giles. Irfan Pathan then hits the winning runs!! INDIA WIN THE MATCH BY 3 WICKETS. 236/7

You have to update it urself after every match but some jobs are done easier by Microsoft Excel. Like calculating the bowling average. Microsoft Excel automatically does it. We just need to feed in the formula for calculating the bowling and batting average and Excel updates itself for each and every player according to their scores in the match.

But its tough for me to teach you. You need to get a book on How to use Excel if you want to learn it. Or try searching the web for Excel tutorials.

Thanks mate. Hope you get to use Excel for series tables. You need to have the scorecards of each match to update it.
