The difference between the Man of the Series and the MVP of the tournament (valuable player!) is that the most valuable player will be decided on the impact he makes in his side's fortunes in the tournament. Whearas, the Man of the series will be decided pre-dominantly on statistics and better candidates will be selected
Since I have got 5 people predicting, I will have the first ''3/5 questions rite gets reputation'' theory.. thanks to all who have participated so far. still the contest is open and will be open till the first innings of the 5th ODI is over. I will announce before the first innings of that 5th ODI abt the contest. C'mon, participate in it and get reputation points.

England win second ODI by 79 runs!
ENGLAND WIN BY 79 RUNS!
Great scenes here at Dunedin for the English fans. England have trounced New Zealand by 79 runs here and have registered their first win of the tournament.
England, who suffered a setback against India in the first game, batted first and posted a challenging total of 266 for the Kiwis to chase. Geriant Jones led the way for England with a well made 79. England scored lot of runs in the last 10 overs with Flintoff scoring 32 off 21 balls and Pietersen scoring 16 off 12 balls.
Always a total of 267 to chase under lights is tough for any team and New Zealand proved that it was more than enough for England to defend this total. Not one player was ready to stay at the crease and support each other. Astle and Vincent played themselves in only to lose it at a vital moment. Astle top scored with 36 and that sums it all up for New Zealand.
Man of the Match: Geriant Gones
Since New Zealand are all out for 187 (below 200!), England win a bonus point! India and England on par with 5 points each!

Yeah good win for England here. Superb innings by Jones, and Freddie and Pieterson make that England middle order look so dangerous!!

Thanks to the ideas of some audience of the Adidas Cup triangular series, jazz and aditya123, the administrators have decided to create a website for the tournament and update it with the fixtures, results, scorecards, statistics, etc. (Thanks and the credit goes to jazz and aditya123)
My previous statistics site is now integrated as a part of this site. To view statistics, go to the site mentioned in the picture and click on "Statistics". Since the site needs ActiveX control to be enabled, do not use firewalls. If you use WinXP service pack 2 with firewall enabled, it will give you an ActiveX control warning. Click on that information bar and select the first option "Allow to view blocked content" and the page will be displayed in a normal way (the ActiveX is used on the menus!)
