Sachin Tendulkar bamboozles England!

England 166 all out! India require 167 runs to win!
Geriant Jones 54
Sachin Tendulkar 4/7
Anil Kumble 3/41

In what is considered an amazing turnaround to this already exciting game, India have bowled England out for 166 runs. And the hero here is not a fast bowler, but a leg spinner and that too a part time bowler, SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR! Considered a very good part time leg spinner, Tendulkar has run through the England batting line up and has returned with figures of 4-0-7-4.

After England were 78/2 after 11 overs, Kumble removed Strauss when Strauss lofted the ball to mid off and Kaif at mid off took the easy chance with enormous ease. Next to come in was Flintoff. But he too did not last long as he charged down the wicket and was stumped by Dhoni. Pietersen then joined Jones and put up a respectable partnership. Jones in the meantime reached his second half century of this series with a lofted shot to the fine leg boundary for four!

The frustration of the Indians was more visible when Agarkar got two edges off the bat of Jones which missed the outstretched hands of Dhoni for two consecutive fours. But the introduction of Tendulkar made life miserable for the English batsmen. Jones started off the collapse by charging down the wicket and was stumped by Dhoni. Giles went LBW to Tendulkar when he tried to sweep a yorker length delivery. Kabir Ali was trapped in front of the wicket by Sehwag! Pietersen was again stumped by Dhoni off

Inspite of scoring at a run rate of 6.5+ throughout the innings, England have been bowled out for 166. But the surprising thing was the English batsmen trying to sweep the yorker length deliveries which led to their downfall. Tendulkar bowled a brilliant line and length, drying up the runs and thereby inducing mistakes! Inspite of this wicket being a fast bowler's paradise, the spinners here have excelled.

Now, the focus is on India. This wicket is not easy to bat on and 166 itself looks a respectable score. But still, India are in the driver's seat. The Indian batsmen must guard against complacency and try to move positively towards the target. If they win this match, India are assured of a place in the final!

India lose Sachin and Yuvraj! India 38/2

India 38/2 after 6 overs - lose Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh!
Sachin Tendulkar 10 (14)
Yuvraj Singh 11

Sachin Tendulkar has endured his first failure of this series as a fatal mix up by him with Sehwag has cost his wicket. Tendulkar hit a backfoot straight drive and tried for the non existent single and Sehwag after a bit of hesitation took off. Kevin Pietersen from mid off came in and effected a direct throw to Harmison who dislodged the bails with Tendulkar quite a distance away from the crease!

Yuvraj Singh was the next to go and that too, to another mix up with Sehwag. Yuvraj hooked a short ball from Gough and took off for the single. Sehwag this time called him for the second when there was none. But Sehwag then went back into the non striker's end with Yuvraj way out of his crease. Trescothick effected the throw and Jones completed the formalities

Sehwag batting better than he has ever batted this series. Those gorgeous cover drives are back again and a delight to watch. Along with him is Kaif and both should ensure that India should not lose another wicket till the 15th over of the innings!

Tragedy strikes India! 39/3

Kaif GONE! Tragedy strikes India!

THE MATCH IS STILL ALIVE!!!!!!! ENGLAND ARE BACK!!!!!!! A ripper of a ball from Darren Gough that can be considered unplayable. Kaif moved to his leg stump and tried to straight drive the ball but the ball after pitching on leg stump, straightened up to hit the middle stump and Kaif was a dejected man, going back to the pavilion.

England are certainly back in this match! For the first time in this series, we might see a match getting over within 50 overs of both sides put together. India now on the backfoot and Dravid is in there along with Sehwag trying to reduce the damage being done by England and by the Indian batsmen themselves!

wow india IS STRUGLING ALSO

Yes, a nasty pitch being offered here. The seam movement on this pitch is enormous and the batsmen have missed a lot of balls which have seamed away big from them.

Anyways, paying a tribute to the WC2003, Channel 9 have decided to use their WC2003 TV overlays for the remaining part of the match!

Dishnetwork have not got the rights for the matches yet. They are still negotiating for the rights.

(hey indiancricketer, i was searching for ur Dishnetwork graphics throughout ur thread but couldnt find it. Can you send it to me? Once you send it, Dish Network would have negotiated for the rights successfully! :D )

Come on India!!!

I hope England bat like this in the Ashes ;)

Yeah, the question is whether they'll be able to cope with the pressure.
