I am also not a great fan of jadeja though just queried about whether he can do it or not.

Have you ever watched him in action? He is a brilliant player in ODI's. He did above average in tests too (though he got to play less tests!)

Virender Sehwag is starting to find back his lost form and supporting him is Rahul Dravid as both have steadied India inside the first 15 overs reaching a healthy 75/3. They now need another 92 runs to win this match and pocket a final berth.
Sehwag and Dravid played sensibly, rotating the strike. Only in the 14th over did Dravid free his arms and scored 8 runs off the over. Sehwag though not in his usual aggressive self, is currently mixing caution with aggression and playing a sensible and a good quality innings that can help India in winning the match and entering the finals!
England certainly are not out of the game but they need quick wickets as India's required run rate is a measly 2.5 an over. So, England cant win this game by drying the runs up. They need to pick up wickets and bowl out India to win this match!

Dravid fell to the temptation and stepped out to the delivery but missed connecting with it as Jones behind the wicket did no mistake in dislodging the stumps. Dravid walked back disappointed as England get a breather into the match.

After Dravid got out, Jadeja joined Sehwag. Jadeja started off with a crisp boundary through the covers. Just when it looked like he would settle down with Sehwag, he received an unplayable delivery from Kabir Ali that summed up the state of the pitch today. The ball after pitching outside the off stump, darted back in to hit Jadeja on his pads right in front of his middle stump. Jadeja could do nothing but to watch the umpire's finger go up. He walked back trudgingly LBW for 8.
Meanwhile, Sehwag has reached his first half century of the series with a gorgrous straight drive down the ground for four. Dhoni at the other end also started off witha flourish, spanking his first ball through the off side for a four!
England know that they need to get Sehwag to put India into enormous trouble. India now know that Sehwag can lead them to a win or else, they might start thinking of a defeat here. The next part of the game probably would decide if India are going to win this match or not! But the wicket served here certainly is a shocker of a ODI wicket and is a very bad advertisement for ODI cricket! It may keep the crowds in New Zealand away from watching ODI cricket in the stadium!

Dhoni in the meanwhile, was out soon. Dhoni tried to to cover drive Flintoff but the ball held its line after pitching and forced Dhoni to lob the ball in the air to mid off where Kabir Ali pouched the ball easily. Dhoni was out for 7. But this did not deter Sehwag from scoring in a carefree manner. Sehwag is now farming almost 100% of the strike as he and Agarkar have put up a 20 run partnership with Agarkar scoring only 1 run!
