Our batting would be fine without KP against an attack like the West Indies but, it'd be nice to have him in the side.

The good news is that he's missing Hampshires game against Lancs

BUGGER. Well that would be annoying if we lost KP, our best batsman, just hope he isnt out.

We have enough depth in batting to cover the likes of KP, albeit they won't be as good they will be good enough. Shah for instance.

Anyhow, he looks a good addition to the line up...

My main worry is if we put in shah and say joyce..they are all the "same type" of batsmen. They are all "nudgers", we'd have no aggressive batsmen in the line-up at all.

It would be very beneficial actually to play a game without Vaughan and Pietersen, gives some other guys a chance to stake a claim. Also, puts the pressure on the batsmen not to rely on KP.

Ok 1.A massive no

and 2. I went to the same school as him, and I have a signed bat by him, he played down at the Gore Court in Kent for a while with his brother Sam, very good batsman.
He was an England U-19, always did OK there, he's an opener though, slips down the order for Kent, in 4 day cricket, he opens.

He is a part timer, and when you get me saying someone is a part timer, they are a part timer.

But look out for him...because I have a signed Joe Denly Slazenger bat....?400 on E bay, 'before he was famous' signature.
