West Indies in England

Aha!
Yes, A broken finger is nothing.
You're so naive it's untrue.
GO break a finger, then play a couple of days later.
Actually go face somebody bowling Mid 80's, and break your finger playing against that.
Rather than the farmyard level I expect that you play.

another hundred for Cook, whats that 5 now in like 10-15 matches?

amazing record..for anyone ..let alone someone so young

Great lad. Is going to be one of the best over the next 10 years in my opinion, because he's got his head screwed on.
And he's working on his off stump weakness, but all left handers have that weakness.

I can play with a broken finger I mean look at waqar Younis He had a finger crop off and still he took over 400 wicket

ive played with a broken toe its no fun at all but i see all the competitveness for batting places in the england side and Vaughan has done nothing to prove he deserves his place the only reason he is still in the team is because he has a C next to his name

Steve Waugh was thrusted out of the ODI side for better players why is Vaughan who is a worse player so special

The difference with having a broken finger and no finger is that once your finger is gone you can't feel pain on it. You do realise that don't you?

Theres also a difference between a Batsman with a crooked finger and a bowler with a crooked finger.
For a batsman it's they're livelyhood.
It couldnt have matter for Younis.

I don't like Vaughan but he has done nothing to be dropped in the test match arena. Still the best test captain in the world imo, I got home just in time to see Cook get 100. I'll have to thank everyone at work for letting me go now :p You kind of knew Cook would get 100 looking at his form and the fact he should have been in the world cup squad. He's briliant, best young bastmen in the world :) I love our new coach as well,he picks the mosst obvious team because he realises theres a reason its obvious!

looks liek that all for today..

Englands day, especially considering the conditions.

I think if England make anything around 350 , then the WI are in a bit of trouble.

Well, Harmisons on good form, bowls well at Lords. Hoggard is in good form.
The pitch will be good for someone like PLunkett who hits the pitch.
Monty I doubt will do anything, it's not the right pitch, nothing there for the spinner, he might get one or two.

Michael Vaughan is rubbish and he is weak always hurt and now What He Said "Oh My finger hurts I can't play"
He should retire!!!!

Go play with a broken finger and face an unexpected quicker ball/or a catch which may hit u on the same finger and then fell the pain and watch the match seating on the bench for 1 more week . But i have a solution if u have a broken finger at first place then miss 1 match and recover in couple of days .

He is apart of an era of English cricket which should be forgotten statistaclly Ponting is much more superior than Michael Vaughan and a man who averages just 38 in first class cricket who is in poor form should make way for someone like Owais Shah who has dominated First Class attacks

Who ever said Vaughan was better than Ponting? :looksaround: Nope I see no one.

Not true actually.

Good day for England and Cookie was brilliant yet again. KP just couldn't resist the urge to play his shots. 200-3, Bell and Prior still to come, I reckon 350-400 is still on.
