West Indies in England

I dont doubt Shah's ability at all he is at least 50 times better than that guy you call a captain Michael Vaughan

:D Well Vaughan hasn't played a test in 18 odd months. Shah should be perserveered (sp?) with imo as I think he is better than Bell and Colly.

Vaughan is one of those older players like Gough, Thorpe, Giles and Hick who England have cleared out I think its time he joined them

So I take it in 51 days time you'll be wanting Ponting out then :p

i think close of play will be about 300-3, hoping west indies can get more wickets, would want it to be good test

Aha.
2002 Ashes.
Just watch it.
See Michael Vaughan when he's in form, when he's playing well.
You seem intent on chasing any player who loses form out of sides. Players don't get scores every game.
Don't be so impatient.

Nice to see Cook on 80 odd. Bloody typical that as soon as I get home the players go off.

Go back out then :p

On a more positive note here's the bbc's forecast for Lord's

Vaughan has come from an era of English cricket where they were absolutley terrible th man has never scored an ODI hundred in many many innings but you insist on picking him

Ponting has come from an era of Australian cricket where there has been sucess. He has scored many ODI and Test hundreds and is rated one of the best in the world at the moment.

Spot the difference

Nobody has ever claimed Vaughan to be a good one day player. Thats the point. It's you fabricating an opinion then arguing against it. Everybody in the country knows that Michael Vaughan isn't a good player.

And you cannto suggest that Vaughan is of the older generation with Hussain etc as he is at least 5 years younger. You should really argue on subjects that you understand next time instead of jumping to horrendously ill informed petualtn little arguements, in which your goal is to just prove that Australian players are better than the English.

No im actually looking out for the England teams well being dont assume im trying to enforce that opinion upon you when i didnt even mention Ricky Ponting first Kev did

He was proving your theory that Vaughan was too old wrong.
He didn't bring him up as a player, he was making you look like an idiot, because you didn't have a clue about the subject you were talking about.

He is apart of an era of English cricket which should be forgotten statistaclly Ponting is much more superior than Michael Vaughan and a man who averages just 38 in first class cricket who is in poor form should make way for someone like Owais Shah who has dominated First Class attacks
