West Indies in England

Shah gone, thats a shame for him, he might not get another chance with Vaughan returning.

Anyway, hopefully KP will come in and speed up this run rate. It'd be great to give the West Indies 5 or 6 overs to bat before stumps.

How many times will Strauss fall edging to the slips while trying to play a straight ball through mid-on/mid-wicket?

yup shah never looked comfatably, probly won't get another chance..

next time they wil probly go for joyce

im pretty disapointed shah didnt take his chance against a poor windies attack interesting fact i just read not one england bowler averages under 30 that is pretty shocking

It's hardly affected us in recent years has it, Griffo? The fact all our batsman average mid 40s counters it somewhat.

183 ahead now. 350 lead minimum at the end of the day. I can only see us bowling them out tomorrow if Monty rips 'em sideways on the pitch, which is possible. Heading for a draw though imo.

lol WI are sldging KP..

everyone knows that makes him play better..

EDIT : 4 boundaries in a row..lol..

Pietersen's smacking 4's all over now..

100 for Kp, another amazing batt from the English. I'm glad peter moores is our coach, or prior would be dropped lol.

Yep, absoloutly. An amazing aproach by moores, and the players replied. Today was most probably Shah's chance to cement a place in the squad and he failed misserably, once he gets a little bit older and better that will be the next step.

Our batting order in test's seems not to go down as much in the odi's. After about the 3rd -> 5th wicket we fall to a poor total untill its left to our keeper and a tail, but in the test's, Pietersen seems more comfortable with bell and Cook is one of our best test players so were doing fine at the moment, roll on the 5th day.

Bell gone, smashed to deep backward point

You've got to question if putting him at number 3 was the right think to do. Whatever happened to protecting the new guy?

The umpire didn't even know what to do, 4 or 6?

Oh well ill give him it, amazing Prior, taking the game to a next level

Now Pietersen's gone, great innings.

Did i say something about the middle order falling?

they are slogging for the declaration..

still loads fo overs left today

easiest wickets Gayle will ever get..

I feel they've gone on too long now. These last few overs aren't bringing many runs and they give us less to bowl the Windies out.

Edit: what an artificial declaration. Then took half-an-hour to add 12 more runs...

i doubt those last 12 runs will make a difference at all and have probably missed out on a wicket now :(.
