West Indies in England

funny the LBW.. cos they were interviewing the coach before todays play..

he said they had come up with a plan to negate monty..IE using the bat..

guess its time for plan "c"

well watching tailenders batting like this just proves how flat the pitch is..

Lords tests have become very boring is recent years ..pitches are just to dead..

WI taileneders are taken them to a decent score, if the West Indian bowlers get a few early wickets they are in with a decent chance.

has anyone been catch by the keeper yet?

only 14 wkts have fallen in 3.5 days..only 9 to pace bowling..

what makes u think there is going to be a huge clatter of wickets now?

Only team who can lose this is WI..and that only if they "bottle it" in the 2nd innings

You never know, if England come out and play recklessly than West Indies only have to use a sence of intelligence to get them out.

in the last 40 overseas test matches..the West indies have WON ONLY 4 !!

and they were 2 each against bangladesh and Zimbabwe..

What a shot!

:hpraise Darren Powell you absolute legend lol. Best shot I have ever seen :p Walk down the track outside leg stump and then hits a backfoot cover drive!

Amazing...

They said on commentary that he equalled the record with 5 lbws. Not to harp on about injuries but without Flintoff and Hoggard getting rid of the tail was always going to be harder.

What a shot it was from Powell, unorthodox to say the least but brilliant:p. Then he follows it up with a textbook cover drive. Great work from Panesar, very well done to get his name up on the honours board.

It seems as if Hoggard wont play at Headingley, it'll be Anderson in I would think. Like for like swing bowlers.

I would imagine Strauss would want to get a lead of at least a lead of 400 before declaring, thats gonna mean we're gonna have to bat out today. Is it just me, or is this a carbon copy of the England v Pakistan test at Lords last year:p.

Yes Phil that's what i've been thinking. This will be the trend for most Lords Test matches in the future if these pitches stay the same.
