Good day for England but what on earth was Strauss doing at the end? Fair enough letting the batsman like KP, Bell and Prior make runs but once Prior had been dismissed we should've come off. We need to get Monty on early tomorrow, perhaps 5 more overs each for these two, at most. Maybe bowl KP too as it will spin for him. Can we do it? Maybe, depends on how Monty performs as I can't see Plunkett and more so Harmison doing much damage.

Prior has taken some great 'catches' behind the stumps hasn't he? The one off of Plunkett tonight was very good. Tbh as much as I thought he' do well his keeping has been better than I thought it would be. Infact you can't say it's any worse than Nixon, Read or Jones. Maybe even better on the evidence so far? (Plenty of practice too!)

Monty will be the key although he'll need someone doing the other end doing a job too. I wouldn't have fancied us from this position in the past but against the Windies with a top quality spinner and a turning wicket we've definitely got a chance.

Looks like a draw. WI should be able to bat a whole day. Then again, bowl Monty at one end. They have major technical issues with spinners by the looks of it. 5 lbw's and a bowled. Good accurate bowling, but really they need to be able to get bat to them.

We basically have one bowler tomorrow. I say we use Collingwood a lot more tomorrow. He might not be quick, but he's bowled a hell of a lot better than Plunkett and Harmison in this Test.
