well if they drop a player after he took 8(?) wickets in the previous test, then all hope is lost for me. What would it do to Sidebottom's confidence?
If taking this many wickets cannot ensure some sort of run in the side, then they shouldn't have recalled him.

Get both in. It's been a while since we've had two reliable opening bowlers in either form.
James I was basing it on his performances in the CC for the last 3-4 seasons. Where he has been a consistent bowler. He's not the kind to go wayward (Aka, Plunkett, Saj, Harmison).
