The first ever Twenty20 World Championship will be held in South Africa this year, these are the group stage fixtures:

11th September: South Africa v West Indies at Johannesburg
12th September: Australia v Zimbabwe at Cape Town
12th September: New Zealand v Kenya at Durban
12th September: Pakistan v Scotland at Durban
13th September: West Indies v Bangladesh at Johannesburg
13th September: Zimbabwe v England at Cape Town
14th September: Australia v England at Cape Town
14th September: Sri Lanka v Kenya at Johannesburg
14th September: India v Scotland at Durban
15th September: South Africa v Bangladesh at Cape Town
15th September: Sri Lanka v New Zealand at Johannesburg
15th September: India v Pakistan at Durban

Really looking forward to this. The 50 over world cup's group stage took 12 days, this one will take 4. :p

Yeah, i thought of that after I'd posted it, I didn't count the 1st day.
 
Well fans don't have to hope for a double upset not to happen to see their India-Pakistan cricket this time around.
 
Is it the top two or only the top team that makes it out of group play?
 
Very entertaining to watch. I hope most of the matches are picked up by Foxtel
 
Brett Lee will be back for this tournament it will be interesting to see how he does now being Australians most experienced bowler, i think it is outrageous that scotland are in their but not ireland

Well to be fair Scotland did all they needed to qualify, Ireland didn't. People might argue that Ireland are the better team but they didn't do enough to get there.
